Mc 6, 34-44
Vayan a ver".

GospelMK 6:34-44
When Jesus saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them,
for they were like sheep without a shepherd;
and he began to teach them many things.
By now it was already late and his disciples approached him and said,
"This is a deserted place and it is already very late.
Dismiss them so that they can go
to the surrounding farms and villages
and buy themselves something to eat."
He said to them in reply,
"Give them some food yourselves."
But they said to him,
"Are we to buy two hundred days' wages worth of food
and give it to them to eat?"
He asked them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see."
And when they had found out they said,
"Five loaves and two fish."
So he gave orders to have them sit down in groups on the green grass.
The people took their places in rows by hundreds and by fifties.
Then, taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven,
he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples
to set before the people;
he also divided the two fish among them all.
They all ate and were satisfied.
And they picked up twelve wicker baskets full of fragments
and what was left of the fish.
Those who ate of the loaves were five thousand men.
for they were like sheep without a shepherd;

Meditacion:
Amen

I love this gospel passage because it is a very profound teaching.
Look at these verses Jesus teaches us all how to act with others.
Follow the love speech we heard yesterday. You can see that it is difficult to enter into this dynamic, and you have to hammer after hammering to clinch the message. And we continue in the dynamic of "say + do". If we talk about Christian love, it must be translated into works. "Give them to eat." Surely the Disciples put on the face of "but what are you telling us, Master". It is possible that they too had pity on people, like Jesus. But they lacked the second part, to put measures, to act, to act, to move. It is necessary the intervention of Jesus, so that everything is fixed. They ate until they were satisfied, and twelve baskets remained. With God there is everything, for everyone.
We usually are, in general, empathic. We are saddened by the suffering of others, especially the children and the elderly. We watch TV, listen to the radio and natural disasters help us open the purse and make a donation. It's about continuing in that line. And let's not forget those who suffer near our house. That we know how to go out to those who need us.
Let's not be Christians that we only go to mass and we fulfill by fulfilling our hearts! Let us look into each other's eyes when we give a donation to a person who lives on the street, let us be grateful for what God gives us to administer, let us open our hearts without fear to those who suffer.
That is the teaching of this beautiful passage today.
Let us not forget that Jesus himself could have fed the crowd directly, but rather invited his disciples to participate in his missionary work.
We invite others to come to our religious practices with us and to do good deeds.
Ask the Lord to act through you, and let your life and love grow in you so that you may become an instrument of the Kingdom of God for all your acquaintances and friends.
"Jesus, my Lord, grant me your grace, I beg you, to give a good testimony and take my family and friends to your presence." Amen
