GospelLK 9:46-50
An argument arose among the disciples
about which of them was the greatest.
Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child
and placed it by his side and said to them,
"Whoever receives this child in my name receives me,
and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
For the one who is least among all of you
is the one who is the greatest."
Then John said in reply,
"Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name
and we tried to prevent him
because he does not follow in our company."
Jesus said to him,
"Do not prevent him, for whoever is not against you is for you."

Meditacion:
He aprendido bastante, pero aún me falta mucho.” Amen

What a beautiful passage this is to say goodbye to the month of September!
If you remember, in the last week we saw in the gospel how the disciples were more concerned to see who was going to be first in the Kingdom of Heaven than by the true mission of the apostle: service to others.
That is why Jesus sets the example of the child and once and for all ends the discussion «He who welcomes this child in my name welcomes me; and he who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. The smallest of you is the most important.
To be like children in the eyes of Jesus was to have detached ourselves from all that is left over and, simply, as St. Paul said, "For humility, each consider others as superior to himself" (Philippians 2, 3).
But something else still happens in today's Gospel that is very interesting.
John takes the floor and asks Jesus: "Master, we have seen one who cast demons in your name and, as it is not ours, we wanted to prevent it."
Ahh look brothers how many times we think we have "LA" truth and that the rest of the world is wrong!
How many times do we commit the sin of pride and pride because we are "the Catholics", "the Christians", "those already saved".
Look here what Jesus says «Do not stop him; he who is not against you is in your favor. "
As Pope Francis says "we must protect our smallness to dialogue with the greatness of the Lord because it is a personal and unique relationship"; We are all in a different place when it comes to seeing how we relate to God but we are Church in the walk towards the Father.
It is a slow process, but if we persevere, God will bless us one hundred and one.
“Thank you, Lord Jesus, for touching my heart and coming into my life. I've learned a lot, but I'm still missing a lot.
