Alegria

Lc 5, 33-39

En aquel tiempo, los fariseos y los escribas le preguntaron a Jesús: "¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan ayunan con frecuencia y hacen oración, igual que los discípulos de los fariseos, y los tuyos, en cambio, comen y beben?"

Jesús les contestó: "¿Acaso pueden ustedes obligar a los invitados a una boda a que ayunen, mientras el esposo está con ellos? Vendrá un día en que les quiten al esposo, y entonces sí ayunarán".

Les dijo también una parábola: "Nadie rompe un vestido nuevo para remendar uno viejo, porque echa a perder el nuevo, y al vestido viejo no le queda el remiendo del nuevo. Nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos, porque el vino nuevo revienta los odres y entonces el vino se tira y los odres se echan a perder. El vino nuevo hay que echarlo en odres nuevos y así se conservan el vino y los odres. Y nadie, acabando de beber un vino añejo, acepta uno nuevo, pues dice:'El añejo es
mejor' ".

GospelLK 5:33-39

The scribes and Pharisees said to Jesus,
"The disciples of John the Baptist fast often and offer prayers,
and the disciples of the Pharisees do the same;
but yours eat and drink."
Jesus answered them, "Can you make the wedding guests fast
while the bridegroom is with them?
But the days will come, and when the bridegroom is taken away from them,
then they will fast in those days."
And he also told them a parable.
"No one tears a piece from a new cloak to patch an old one.
Otherwise, he will tear the new
and the piece from it will not match the old cloak.
Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins,
and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined.
Rather, new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins.
And no one who has been drinking old wine desires new,
for he says, 'The old is good.'"

Meditacion:

El evangelio de hoy esta lleno de alegria. Alegria porque Jesus estaba entre los discipulos, habia venido a a la tierra a salvarnos.

Y claramente leemos y percibimos la insidia de los jerarcas de la religion judia que nuevamente se quedaban en los gestos y no podian mirar mas alla, la tremenda trascendencia del amor de Dios enviando a su propio hijo a salvarnos.

Al igual que Marta que se sienta a los pies del Maestro a escucharlo y aprovechar su estancia, los discipulos hacian eso: aprendian a su lado; las formas llegarian luego ( y crecerian hasta esta Iglesia de hoy dia, tan eclesiastica a veces...).

Si tienes a Jesus a tu lado, no vas a andar haciendo nada mas que escucharlo. tienes al dueño de la verdad, al maestro de maestro... 

San Pablo nos señala el camino, y si ponemos toda la atención en el Señor y nos dedicamos a ser administradores de los misterios divinos, Jesús vendrá a llenar también nuestro entendimiento. Así tampoco tendremos razones para preocuparnos de lo que otras personas piensen de nosotros. De lo que sí tenemos que preocuparnos es de si estamos agradando al Señor con la forma como estamos viviendo nuestra fe.

“Espíritu Santo, Señor, lléname el corazón y la mente de la presencia de Jesús. Que mi gozo esté en saber que he sido redimido por la sangre del Cordero y que todas las cosas son mías en Cristo Jesús, y que yo le pertenezco a él.” Amen

Today's Gospel is full of joy. Joy because Jesus was among the disciples, he had come to earth to save us.

And we clearly read and we perceived the insidiousness of the hierarchs of the Jewish religion who again remained in the gestures and could not look any further, the tremendous transcendence of the love of God sending his own son to save us.

Like Martha who sits at the feet of the Master to listen to him and take advantage of his stay, the disciples did that: they learned at his side; the forms would come later (and would grow until this Church of today, so ecclesiastical sometimes ...).

If you have Jesus by your side, you will not be doing anything but listening to him. you have the owner of the truth, the master teacher ...

St. Paul shows us the way, and if we put all our attention on the Lord and dedicate ourselves to be stewards of the divine mysteries, Jesus will come to fill our understanding also. So we will not have reasons to worry about what other people think of us. What we do have to worry about is whether we are pleasing the Lord with the way we are living our faith.

"Holy Spirit, Lord, fill my heart and mind with the presence of Jesus. May my joy be in knowing that I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and that all things are mine in Christ Jesus, and that I belong to him. "Amen
