Jn 20, 11-18

El día de la resurrección, María se había quedado llorando junto al sepulcro de Jesús. Sin dejar de llorar, se asomó al sepulcro y vio dos ángeles vestidos de blanco, sentados en el lugar donde había estado el cuerpo de Jesús, uno en la cabecera y el otro junto a los pies. Los ángeles le preguntaron: “¿Por qué estás llorando, mujer?” Ella les contestó: “Porque se han llevado a mi Señor y no sé dónde lo habrán puesto”.

Dicho esto, miró hacia atrás y vio a Jesús de pie, pero no sabía que era Jesús. Entonces él le dijo: “Mujer, ¿por qué estás llorando? ¿A quién buscas?” Ella, creyendo que era el jardinero, le respondió: “Señor, si tú te lo llevaste, dime dónde lo has puesto”. Jesús le dijo: “¡María!” Ella se volvió y exclamó: “¡Rabuní!”, que en hebreo significa ‘maestro’. Jesús le dijo: “Déjame ya, porque todavía no he subido al Padre. Ve a decir a mis hermanos: ‘Subo a mi Padre y su Padre, a mi Dios y su Dios’ ”.

María Magdalena se fue a ver a los discípulos para decirles que había visto al Señor y para darles su mensaje.

GospelJN 20:11-18

Mary Magdalene stayed outside the tomb weeping.
And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb
and saw two angels in white sitting there,
one at the head and one at the feet
where the Body of Jesus had been.
And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?”
She said to them, “They have taken my Lord,
and I don’t know where they laid him.”
When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there,
but did not know it was Jesus.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?
Whom are you looking for?”
She thought it was the gardener and said to him,
“Sir, if you carried him away,
tell me where you laid him,
and I will take him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,”
which means Teacher.
Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me,
for I have not yet ascended to the Father.
But go to my brothers and tell them,
‘I am going to my Father and your Father,
to my God and your God.’”
Mary went and announced to the disciples,
“I have seen the Lord,”
and then reported what he had told her.

Meditacion:

Y siempre una mujer. Una virgen te pario, una mujer fue la primera en verte despues de la resurreccion.

Jesus no eligio uno de sus apostoles o discipulos importantes, eligio a la mas humilde, Maria Magdalena, para llevar la buena nueva de que habia resucitado a toda esa Iglesia primitiva, escondida y asustada, esperando sin saber bien que hacer.

Y no lo reconocio, penso que era el jardinero.

Como nos pasa a nosotros a veces, no reconocemos a Jesus en la mano del hermano que nos tiende, en las pequeñas cosas que nos pasan; Jesus raramente eligira presentarse en la vida de cada uno de una forma imponente y majestuosa, mas bien, son pequeñas cosas aqui y alla.

Es por eso que hay que estar abierto, orando, esperanzado y saber agradecer lo bueno y lo malo de la vida, porque de todo se aprende y de todo se puede ganar el cielo.

Maria Magdalena, la sierva mas humilde y fiel fue la encargada de llevar la buena nueva de la resurreccion a toda la Iglesia, de la misma manera, nosotros llevemos la alegria de ser Hijos de Dios y herederos del cielo en cada dia de nuestras vidas.

“Señor mío Jesucristo, tú eres la fuente de mi vida y mi salvación.”

And always a woman. A virgin bore you, a woman was the first to see you after the resurrection.

Jesus did not choose one of his important apostles or disciples, he chose the most humble, Maria Magdalena, to bring the good news that he had resurrected all that primitive Church, hidden and scared, waiting without knowing what to do.

And he didn't recognize it, he thought it was the gardener.

As sometimes happens to us, we do not recognize Jesus in the hand of the brother who offers us, in the little things that happen to us; Jesus will rarely choose to present himself in the life of each one in an imposing and majestic way, rather, they are little things here and there.

That is why you have to be open, praying, hopeful and knowing how to be grateful for the good and the bad of life, because from everything you learn and from everything you can earn heaven.

Maria Magdalena, the most humble and faithful servant was in charge of bringing the good news of the resurrection to the whole Church, in the same way, we carry the joy of being Sons of God and heirs of heaven in each day of our lives.

"My Lord Jesus Christ, you are the source of my life and my salvation."
