Amen

Doubts, doubts, doubts ... even John the Baptist doubted that Jesus was the Messiah ...
And since he had a small group that followed him, he sent a couple to ask just in case ... are you the one we're waiting for?
Let's not forget that Juan and Jesus were cousins so I guess the tone would have been trustworthy ... hey cousin ... is it you or are we still waiting and baptizing?
Jesus does not answer them directly, humans are more inclined to believe in what we see than in what they tell us ... and that day miracle after miracle happens ... over there, a couple of demoniacs come out praising.
Finally Jesus tells them "guys here everyone is cured ... and catechized as God intended ..." And ends with an interesting phrase "Blessed are those who are not scandalized by me."
And it is that we, poor humans, have many problems with monotheism, with believing in a Savior God.
And we get many "little gods" around ... generally the first line of battle is made up of quasi-holy gods such as Saint Death, Gauchito Gil, the deceased I ask, I wear a red bracelet for envy and I use the veneration of the Virgin to get me out of trouble. And from there come many more little gods such as the intensive use of gossip and the cell phone, I believe everything that social networks tell me, I am a gossip and mitotero there, and I spend my free time lying on the couch watching television instead of use some of my time for prayer or meditation.
Did they see? We have a lot of little gods that we have created here and there.
The problem is not that Jesus has stopped working miracles, it is that we have stopped seeing them, trapped by these other necessities.
A son who quit drugs, a father who converted and gets along better with his family, someone who found his north in Jesus ... miracles are there every day and they continue to occur.
So today friends, a week and a little more than we celebrate the coming of the King of Kings it would be interesting to leave the cell phone for a while, chat with those we love, be interested in those who are close; be, in short, the miracle for another person. Amen
