Ama y haz lo que quieras

Mc 12, 28-34

En aquel tiempo, uno de los escribas se acercó a Jesús y le preguntó: "¿Cuál es el primero de todos los mandamientos?" Jesús le respondió: "El primero es:Escucha, Israel: El Señor, nuestro Dios, es el único Señor; amarás al Señor, tu Dios, con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas. El segundo es éste: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. No hay ningún mandamiento mayor que éstos".

El escriba replicó: "Muy bien, Maestro. Tienes razón, cuando dices que el Señor es único y que no hay otro fuera de él, y amarlo con todo el corazón, con toda el alma, con todas las fuerzas, y amar al prójimo como a uno mismo, vale más que todos los holocaustos y sacrificios".

Jesús, viendo que había hablado muy sensatamente, le dijo: "No estás lejos del Reino de Dios". Y ya nadie se atrevió a hacerle más preguntas.

GospelMK 12:28-34

One of the scribes came to Jesus and asked him,
"Which is the first of all the commandments?"
Jesus replied, "The first is this:
Hear, O Israel!
The Lord our God is Lord alone!
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, 
with all your soul, 
with all your mind, 
and with all your strength.
The second is this:
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
There is no other commandment greater than these."
The scribe said to him, "Well said, teacher.
You are right in saying,
He is One and there is no other than he.
And to love him with all your heart,
with all your understanding, 
with all your strength,
and to love your neighbor as yourself
is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
And when Jesus saw that he answered with understanding,
he said to him,
"You are not far from the Kingdom of God."
And no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Meditacion:

"Escucha oh Israel, el Señor, nuestro Dios es el único Señor. Amarás al Señor con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con todas tus fuerzas; el segundo es este: amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo"

Es sin duda un discurso poderoso y unico... no hay nada mas que decir, Jesus nos marca por donde caminar sin dudarlo.. “Ama y haz lo que quieras. Si callas, callarás con amor; si gritas, gritarás con amor; si corriges, corregirás con amor; si perdonas, perdonarás con amor. Si tienes el amor arraigado en ti, ninguna otra cosa sino amor serán tus frutos" nos dice San Agustin.

A veces, en medio de las turbulencias de la vida amar se nos hace complicado, ademas que nos cuesta amar a "todos" los projimos, somos muy selectivos con nuestro amor.

Sin embargo Jesus no eligio amar a unos si y a otros no, El amo y lo hizo hasta el final por todos sin distincion.

Nos quedan dos semanas mas de cuaresma, comencemos a amar de corazon, limpiemonos de prejuicios, dejemos de juzgar al projimo y sencillamente busquemos su beneficio y no siempre el nuestro

O sea.. comencemos a amar. Amen.

Una nota al margen, las meditaciones volveran el lunes porque estoy yendo de retiro.

It is without doubt a powerful and unique discourse ... there is nothing more to say, Jesus marks us where to walk without hesitation .. "Love and do what you want. If you shut up, you will be silent with love; if you scream, you will scream with love; if you correct, you will correct with love; If you forgive, you will forgive with love. If you have the love rooted in you, nothing but love will be your fruits "says San Agustin.

Sometimes, in the midst of the turbulence of life, love makes us complicated, besides it is hard for us to love "everyone", we are very selective with our love.

However Jesus did not choose to love some if not others, The master and did it to the end by all without distinction.

We have two more weeks of Lent, begin to love heartily, cleanse of prejudices, stop judging others and simply look for their benefit and not always ours
