Abundancia de corazón...

Jn 3, 31-36

"El que viene de lo alto está por encima de todos; pero el que viene de la tierra pertenece a la tierra y habla de las cosas de la tierra. El que viene del cielo está por encima de todos. Da testimonio de lo que ha visto y oído, pero nadie acepta su testimonio. El que acepta su testimonio certifica que Dios es veraz. Aquel a quien Dios envió habla las palabras de Dios, porque Dios le ha concedido sin medida su Espíritu.

El Padre ama a su Hijo y todo lo ha puesto en sus manos. El que cree en el Hijo tiene vida eterna. Pero el que es rebelde al Hijo no verá la vida, porque la cólera divina pMerdura en contra de él''.

GospelJN 3:31-36

The one who comes from above is above all.
The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things.
But the one who comes from heaven is above all.
He testifies to what he has seen and heard,
but no one accepts his testimony.
Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.
For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God.
He does not ration his gift of the Spirit.
The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Meditacion:

Hay un dicho, una frase, que mi madre repetia siempre "de la abundancia del corazon habla la boca" y leyendo este pasaje del evangelio de hoy, la recorde.

Cuando uno esta lleno del Espiritu Santo, solo de eso habla. Y me ha pasado muchas veces sentir mi corazon inflamarse en mi pecho cuando escucho hablar con pasion y amor de Dios. Nuestra alma reconoce otra alma "enamorada" de Jesus Sacramentado.

Y sin embargo, cuando intentas evangelizar a personas que estan mas "en la tierra", muchas veces uno se siente como arando entre piedras; sabes, ves y sientes que las personas no les interesa.. pero en mi experiencia, muchas veces esa semilla que hoy cae en suelo no muy fertil, germinara en el futuro, a su tiempo, muchas veces, vidas despues.

Todos estos dias estamos leyendo en la primera lectura como los apostoles, sencillamente, no podian dejar de hablar de los milagros que Jesus habia hecho y proclamar su palabra... no podian porque vivian en el amor de Dios del cual habian sido testigos directos. Y de como ese testimonio, levantaba la ira de la jerarquia religiosa que buscaba matarlos, pensando que asi todo se aplacaria.

La oscuridad siempre rechaza la luz del amor, cuando vives en el amor de Dios, muchas personas te rechazaran porque el amor de Dios es para todos pero no todos lo aceptan.

Paciencia, amor filial y misericordia son siempre las mejores armas para tener a la mano en estas situacion. Amen

There is a saying, a phrase, that my mother always repeated "from the abundance of the heart speaks the mouth" and reading this passage of the gospel of today, remembers it.

When one is full of the Holy Spirit, only that speaks. And it has happened to me many times to feel my heart swell in my chest when I hear talk with passion and love of God. Our soul recognizes another soul "in love" with the Blessed Sacrament.

And yet, when you try to evangelize people who are more "on the earth", many times you feel like plowing between stones; You know, you see and you feel that people do not care ... but in my experience, many times that seed that today falls on soil not very fertile, will germinate in the future, in time, many times, lives later.

All these days we are reading in the first reading as the apostles, simply could not stop talking about the miracles that Jesus had done and proclaim his word ... could not because they lived in the love of God of which they had been direct witnesses. And how that testimony, raised the anger of the religious hierarchy that sought to kill them, thinking that everything would be placated.

Darkness always rejects the light of love, when you live in the love of God, many people will reject you because the love of God is for all but not all accept it.

Patience, filial love and mercy are always the best weapons to have on hand in these situations. Amen
