No he venido a cambiar la ley

Mt 5, 17-19

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “No crean que he venido a abolir la ley o los profetas; no he venido a abolirlos, sino a darles plenitud. Yo les aseguro que antes se acabarán el cielo y la tierra, que deje de cumplirse hasta la más pequeña letra o coma de la ley.

Por lo tanto, el que quebrante uno de estos preceptos menores y enseñe eso a los hombres, será el menor en el Reino de los cielos; pero el que los cumpla y los enseñe, será grande en el Reino de los cielos’’.

Jesus said to his disciples:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away,
not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter
will pass from the law,
until all things have taken place.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so
will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven."

Meditacion:

El evangelio de hoy nos presenta un Jesus que responde a las criticas que se le hacian sobre que habia venido a cambiar todo y a no respetar la ley de ese tiempo.

En la historia de la humanidad, ninguna revolucion ayudo a cambiar las cosas totalmente a favor de las personas.

Jesus es revolucion pero de una manera diferente, Jesus comprende y sabe que las leyes no pueden ser cambiadas, es el corazon de la persona el que tiene que cambiar.

Veamoslo en dos ejemplos grandiosos:el Mahatma Ghandi, predicando una revolucion de no resistencia, no violenta, libero a su pueblo (el hindu) de la ocupacion inglesa.

La madre Theresa de Calcuta, con solo su ejemplo y accion, movio todo un mundo y dio esperanzas a los mas necesitados en uno de los lugares mas necesitados del mundo como es Calcuta.

Dos ejemplos de revolucion de amor, que sin apelar a la accion violenta, cambian la realidad de muchsiimas personas.

Yo me pregunto si cada uno de nosotros se animaria a cambiar no solo su realidad diaria sino la de su barrio, la de su ciudad... es posible, solo hay que comenzar por uno mismo,

Cuando nos dejemos de quejar de las pequenas cosas y nos decidamos a tener unas raices profundas en nuestra espiritualidad, sera cuando estos cambios se produciran casi naturalmente.

Y entonces la realidad la veremos a traves de los ojos del amor, la misericordia y la caridad.  No es imposible, hay muchas personas viviendo de esa manera... nos acompanas? Amen

Today's Gospel presents us with a Jesus that responds to the criticisms that were made about what had come to change everything and to not respect the law of that time.

In the history of mankind, no revolution helped change things completely in favor of people.

Jesus is revolution but in a different way, Jesus understands and knows that laws can not be changed, it is the heart of the person that has to change.

Let's see it in two great examples: the Mahatma Ghandi, preaching a revolution of non-resistance, nonviolent, liberated his people (the Hindu) from the English occupation.

Mother Theresa of Calcutta, with only her example and action, moved a whole world and gave hope to the most needy in one of the most needy places in the world such as Calcutta.

Two examples of love revolution, that without appealing to violent action, change the reality of many people.

I wonder if each one of us would dare to change not only their daily reality but that of their neighborhood, their city ... it is possible, you just have to start with yourself,

When we stop complaining about small things and decide to have deep roots in our spirituality, it will be when these changes will occur almost naturally.

And then reality will see it through the eyes of love, mercy and charity. It is not impossible, there are many people living that way ... you accompany us? Amen
