Para eso he venido

Lc 4, 38-44

En aquel tiempo, Jesús salió de la sinagoga y entró en la casa de Simón. La suegra de Simón estaba con fiebre muy alta y le pidieron a Jesús que hiciera algo por ella. Jesús, de pie junto a ella, mandó con energía a la fiebre, y la fiebre desapareció. Ella se levantó enseguida y se puso a servirles.

Al meterse el sol, todos los que tenían enfermos se los llevaron a Jesús y él, imponiendo las manos sobre cada uno, los fue curando de sus enfermedades. De muchos de ellos salían también demonios que gritaban: "¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!" Pero él les ordenaba enérgicamente que se callaran, porque sabían que él era el Mesías.

Al día siguiente se fue a un lugar solitario y la gente lo andaba buscando. Cuando lo encontraron, quisieron retenerlo, para que no se alejara de ellos; pero él les dijo: "También tengo que anunciarles el Reino de Dios a las otras ciudades, pues para eso he sido enviado". Y se fue a predicar en las sinagogas de Judea.

GospelLK 4:38-44

After Jesus left the synagogue, he entered the house of Simon.
Simon's mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever,
and they interceded with him about her.
He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her.
She got up immediately and waited on them.

At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases
brought them to him.
He laid his hands on each of them and cured them.
And demons also came out from many, shouting, "You are the Son of God."
But he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak
because they knew that he was the Christ.

At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place.
The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him,
they tried to prevent him from leaving them.
But he said to them, "To the other towns also
I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God,
because for this purpose I have been sent."
And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

Meditacion:

Hoy, leyendo material sobre este evangelio, encontre una frase que me gusto mucho y que me parece resume lo mas rico e interesante de hoy:  " Evangelizar ya no es anunciar a Jesucristo para, después, sanar. Como en Jesús, predicar el Evangelio es no saber en dónde comienza la palabra y en dónde termina el imponer las manos para sanar."

Lo que el autor explica aqui con suprema claridad es que ya no debemos quedarnos en la evangelizacion; nuestra vida completa debe ser llenada del Espiritu Santo y ser un reflejo de la vida de Jesus.

Jesus sana, proclama, se mueve en un plano donde no hace distinciones pero la actitud de muchos de ese tiempo es la misma que la de ahora: buscan retenerlo, quedarselo para ellos, apropiarse de sus milagros y que sirva a sus deseos.

Y es lo que muchas veces nosostros hacemos con Jesus, queremos que nos resuelva nuestra vida, olvidandonos que Jesus es de todos, que vino por todos y todas y que en este mundo hay muchos mas puntos de vista que los nuestros o a los que nos les caemos tan simpatico como a otros.

No podemos retener a Jesus, sus enseñanzas o sus acciones (no debemos); de la misma manera que el viento del Espiritu Santo vuela en todas direcciones, debemos compartirlo y exponerlo.

En especial en estos dias donde la religion esta tan golpeada por el pecado, debemos vestir nuestros colores catolicos y mostrar con nuestras vidas que seguimos vivos, que la opcion espiritual es la unica opcion valida en esta vida, debemos combatir el relativismo que produce la individualidad malsana de la sociedad secular que proclama el individualismo y el triunfo de lo humano sobre lo espiritual.

Ciertamente, el Evangelio es un don inefable que enriquece la existencia humana; pero es un regalo que no se puede encajonar, es un regalo que nos abre sin cesar hacia el prójimo.

“Amado Señor Jesús, líbrame de todo mal y ayúdame a ser instrumento de reconciliación y misericordia para mis semejantes.” Amen

Today, reading material about this gospel, I found a phrase that I liked a lot and that seems to summarize the richest and most interesting thing of today: "Evangelizing is no longer announcing Jesus Christ, then healing, as in Jesus, preaching the Gospel is not knowing where the word begins and where it ends up imposing hands to heal. "

What the author explains here with supreme clarity is that we should no longer remain in evangelization; Our whole life must be filled with the Holy Spirit and be a reflection of the life of Jesus.

Jesus heals, proclaims, moves in a plane where he does not make distinctions but the attitude of many of that time is the same as that of now: they seek to retain him, to keep it for themselves, to appropriate his miracles and to serve his desires.

And it is what we often do with Jesus, we want him to solve our life, forgetting that Jesus belongs to everyone, that he came for everyone, and that in this world there are many more points of view than ours or those that we we fall as friendly as others.

We can not keep Jesus, his teachings or his actions (we should not); in the same way that the wind of the Holy Spirit flies in all directions, we must share it and expose it.

Especially in these days where religion is so battered by sin, we must wear our Catholic colors and show with our lives that we are still alive, that the spiritual option is the only valid option in this life, we must combat the relativism that individuality produces. unhealthy of the secular society that proclaims individualism and the triumph of the human over the spiritual.

Certainly, the Gospel is an ineffable gift that enriches human existence; but it is a gift that can not be confined, it is a gift that opens us unceasingly towards our neighbor.

"Beloved Lord Jesus, deliver me from all evil and help me to be an instrument of reconciliation and mercy for my fellow men." Amen
