Lc 10, 38-42

GospelLK 10:38-42
Jesus entered a village
where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
She had a sister named Mary
who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said,
"Lord, do you not care
that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving?
Tell her to help me."
The Lord said to her in reply,
"Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing.
Mary has chosen the better part
and it will not be taken from her."

Meditacion:
Amen

No doubt it would be difficult for many of us today to "take a day with Jesus" and dedicate it to Him.
In the same way that sometimes we miss our work, we should like that, suddenly, give him a day without much notice, be a little Maria and less Marta.
Sometimes, driven by this humanity in which we live immersed, we live without living, without being aware of all the moments, of the present that God is in our life.
So much so that sometimes going to church on Sundays costs us. Pope Francis has asked that the rosary be prayed throughout the month of October .. I would add a good confession to you too ... have any of you done it?
In our life there should be room for Marta but also for Maria, let's not get lost in the daily work, not even in the missionary, let's learn to see Jesus in our daily work then all the work will be prayer.
"My Lord Jesus Christ, be my special guest today. I want to receive you in the house of my heart so that you may make your home there. "Amen
