Lc 10, 21-24
En aquella misma hora, Jesús se llenó de júbilo en el Espíritu Santo y exclamó: "¡Yo te alabo, Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque has escondido estas cosas a los sabios y a los entendidos, y las has revelado a la gente sencilla! ¡Gracias, Padre, porque así te ha parecido bien! Todo me lo ha entregado mi Padre y nadie conoce quién es el Hijo, sino el Padre; ni quién es el Padre, sino el Hijo y aquel a quien el Hijo se lo quiera revelar".
Volviéndose a sus discípulos, les dijo aparte: "Dichosos los ojos que ven lo que ustedes ven. Porque yo les digo que muchos profetas y reyes quisieron ver lo que ustedes ven y no lo vieron, y oír lo que ustedes oyen y no lo oyeron".

Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
"I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows who the Son is except the Father,
and who the Father is except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him."
Turning to the disciples in private he said,
"Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
For I say to you,
many prophets and kings desired to see what you see,
but did not see it,
and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it."

Meditacion:
"...has escondido estas cosas a los sabios y a los entendidos, y las has revelado a la gente sencilla!" que bella oracion!
Hoy, con los medios de comunicacion que poseemos, es dificil pensar que una noticia como la venida de Jesus se nos hubiera pasado por alto.
Solo tenemos que recordar las enormes concentraciones alrededor de la Madre Teresa de Calcuta para entender que el amor al projimo es algo muy raro y que mueve multitudes,
Jesus toma la decision de hacerse hombre de la forma mas humilde y misionar y evangelizar de la manera mas pobre.
Desde su nacimiento a su muerte, nunca busco nada mas que enseñar, curar y proteger al humilde, al ciego, al leproso, a la prostituta...
Diriamos hoy dia una vida entregada al hermano.
Y cuando uno se entrega al servicio, viene la alegria del Espiritu Santo que hace tu dia diferente y brillante.
Cuando damos un paso mas y reconocemos a Dios en nuestros hermanos, es cuando dejamos entrar ese conocimiento unico y primero que Jesus nos quiso enseñar: Amen a Dios por sobre todas las cosas y a sus hermanos como a ustedes mismos.
No seria hora de comenzar a enseñar este sencillo y minimo consejo a todos nuestros conocidos? Y mas importante.. no es hora de vivir segun este concepto y hacerlo parte de nuestra vida diaria?
“Señor mío Jesucristo, ilumina mi vida, para que yo sea para ti una morada digna.” Amen

Today, with the means of communication that we have, it is difficult to think that a news like the coming of Jesus would have been overlooked.
We just have to remember the huge concentrations around Mother Teresa of Calcutta to understand that love of neighbor is something very strange and that moves crowds,
Jesus takes the decision to become man in the most humble way and to mission and evangelize in the poorest way.
From his birth to his death, I never look for anything more than teaching, healing and protecting the humble, the blind, the leper, the prostitute ...
We would say today a life given to the brother.
And when one surrenders to the service, comes the joy of the Holy Spirit that makes your day different and brilliant.
When we take a step further and recognize God in our brothers, it is when we let in that unique knowledge and first that Jesus wanted to teach us: Love God above all things and your brothers as yourself.
It would not be time to start teaching this simple and minimal advice to all of our acquaintances? And more importantly ... is not it time to live according to this concept and make it part of our daily life?
"My Lord Jesus Christ, enlighten my life, so that I may be a worthy dwelling for you." Amen
