Pidamos en grande

Mt 7, 7-12

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: "Pidan y se les dará; busquen y encontrarán; toquen y se les abrirá. Porque todo el que pide, recibe; el que busca, encuentra; y al que toca, se le abre.

¿Hay acaso entre ustedes alguno que le dé una piedra a su hijo, si éste le pide pan? Y si le pide pescado, ¿le dará una serpiente? Si ustedes, a pesar de ser malos, saben dar cosas buenas a sus hijos, con cuánta mayor razón el Padre, que está en los cielos, dará cosas buenas a quienes se las pidan.

Traten a los demás como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes. En esto se resumen la ley y los profetas".

Jesus said to his disciples:
"Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 
Which one of you would hand his son a stone
when he asked for a loaf of bread,
or a snake when he asked for a fish?
If you then, who are wicked,
know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your heavenly Father give good things
to those who ask him.

"Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. 
This is the law and the prophets."

Meditacion:

Hoy contemplamos uno de los evangelios que mas frecuentemente las personas se quejan "Dios no me escucha", "le he pedido a Dios por tal favor y no me lo hizo", "he orado con fe por mucho tiempo pero no cambio nada". He escuchado estas y similares apelaciones por años.

Pareciera como si Dios fuera un shopping al que podemos pedirle cualquier cosa. Dios no es Amazon, lo lamento.

De la misma manera que nosotros les damos cosas a nuestros hijos, Dios nos concede cosas a nosotros.

Pero siempre fallamos en lo mismo. Nos quedamos cortos, le pedimos cosas para solucionar algo en el corto plazo y no le pedimos lo que realmente necesitamos para solucionar nuestra vida espiritual.

Cuando nuestros deseos espirituales se alinean con nuestra pobra vision humana es cuando Dios concede. Y concede rapido, casi de un dia para otro. A estos raptos de Dios es lo que llamamos "Bendiciones".

Y esto esta para todos, cualquier persona con un corazon sincero puede pedir y se le concedera, solo que no pida con una vision corta y mezquina.

Dios es eternidad, para El nuestra vision del tiempo que pasa y el milagro que no llega no tiene ningun significado, pidamos grande pero pidamos a su tiempo y en su voluntad.

Pero pidamos porque ya lo dice Jesus en el evangelio "¿Hay acaso entre ustedes alguno que le dé una piedra a su hijo, si éste le pide pan? Y si le pide pescado, ¿le dará una serpiente? Si ustedes, a pesar de ser malos, saben dar cosas buenas a sus hijos, con cuánta mayor razón el Padre, que está en los cielos, dará cosas buenas a quienes se las pidan" Y en Lucas 18, leemos la parabola de la viuda que pide justicia que Dios "¿Y acaso Dios no hará justicia a sus escogidos, que claman a él día y noche? ¿Se tardará en responderles?

Os digo que pronto les hará justicia. Pero cuando venga el Hijo del Hombre, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?"

Justicia tambien es concedernos los favores de Dios que estan esperando por nosotros si sabemos pedirlos.

Entonces pidamos grande, pidamos con fe, pidamos con amor y dejemos en manos de Dios que se cumplan lo que pedimos a su tiempo y no al nuestro.

“Padre eterno, que siempre colmas a tus hijos de grandes bendiciones, sabemos que estás dispuesto a darnos tu Reino si te lo pedimos y te buscamos con el corazón lleno de fe. Que toda tu familia te dé gracias y te alabe ahora y por siempre. Amén.”

Today we contemplate one of the gospels that more often people complain "God does not listen to me", "I asked God for such favor and he did not do it", "I have prayed with faith for a long time but I do not change anything". I have heard these and similar appeals for years.

It seems as if God is a shopping center where we can ask for anything. God is not Amazon, I'm sorry.

In the same way that we give things to our children, God grants us things.

But we always fail in the same. We fall short, we ask for things to solve something in the short term and we do not ask for what we really need to solve our spiritual life.

When our spiritual desires are aligned with our human vision, it is when God grants. And grant fast, almost from one day to the next. To these abductions of God is what we call "Blessings".

And this is for everyone, anyone with a sincere heart can ask and be granted, just do not ask with a short and mean vision.

God is eternity, for Him our vision of the time that passes and the miracle that does not come does not have any meaning, we ask for great but we ask in his time and in his will.

But let us ask because Jesus already says it in the Gospel: "Is there anyone among you who gives a stone to his son, if he asks for bread, and if he asks for fish, will he give him a snake?" be evil, know how to give good things to their children, how much more the Father, who is in heaven, will give good things to those who ask them "And in Luke 18, we read the parable of the widow asking for justice that God" And will God not do justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?

Justice is also to grant us the favors of God that are waiting for us if we know how to ask for them.
