Jn 15, 9-11

GospelJN 15:9-11
Jesus said to his disciples:
"As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father's commandments
and remain in his love.
"I have told you this so that
my joy might be in you and
your joy might be complete."
"As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father's commandments
and remain in his love.
"I have told you this so that
my joy might be in you and
your joy might be complete."

Meditacion:
Amen

Today the gospel tells us to remain in love.
And the truth that many times between our daily life, work, family and everything that surrounds us, there is little time to remain in love.
It is as if Jesus stayed away, relegated to the "Sundays of mass" and the rest of the week, we keep it and we do not even look at it.
When one is in love, sincere joy fills us and we see everything pink. Imagine if we fell in love with God in the same way that we fell in love with a person!
Jesus said: "I love you as the Father loves me" (John 15, 9). To understand more fully the love that God has for us, it is essential to understand the love that the Father has for his Son, because it is the same love. God's love for his Son is eternal, it did not begin with the incarnation of Christ or end with his crucifixion. Jesus was with the Father from the beginning and is the first object of his love. Therefore, when Jesus tells us that he loves us, his love is not limited by space or time, it is also eternal.
When the love of Jesus becomes present in the life of the believer, it melts the coldness, softens the hardness and makes us love him from the heart, to the point of making us know his will and obeying his commands, because when we do it we experience even more deeply his wonderful love (John 15, 10).
"Open my spiritual eyes, my Lord Jesus Christ, and help me see that your plans and actions are more excellent and effective than the imperfect ideas and selfish desires that I have." Amen
