Escuchar la palabra

Lc 11, 27-28

En aquel tiempo, mientras Jesús hablaba a la multitud, una mujer del pueblo, gritando, le dijo: "¡Dichosa la mujer que te llevó en su seno y cuyos pechos te amamantaron!" Pero Jesús le respondió: "Dichosos todavía más los que escuchan la palabra de Dios y la ponen en práctica".

While Jesus was speaking,
a woman from the crowd called out and said to him,
"Blessed is the womb that carried you
and the breasts at which you nursed."
He replied, "Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it."

Meditacion:

En el evangelio de hoy Jesus nos reafirma algo que ya hemos meditado: la familia celestial, la busqueda de nuestra propia santidad pasa por una relacion personal con Dios.

Y son los frutos de esa relacion tan especial, tan llena de amor la que debemos traer a nuestra propia familia, convirtiendo nuestros momentos comunes en reflejo de la familia de Nazaret.

En tiempos en que afuera todo parece tan hostil, nuestra familia debe ser el refugio, el lugar donde volver a recargar baterias y el primer lugar donde debemos reflejar nuestra elevacion.

"Amado Jesus, protege nuestras familias y ayudanos a ser un reflejo de la de Nazaret" Amen

n today's Gospel Jesus reaffirms something we have already pondered: the heavenly family, the search for our own holiness goes through a personal relationship with God.

And it is the fruits of that special relationship, so full of love that we must bring to our own family, turning our common moments into a reflection of the Nazareth family.

In times when everything seems so hostile outside, our family must be the refuge, the place to recharge batteries and the first place where we should reflect our elevation.

"Beloved Jesus, protect our families and help us to be a reflection of that of Nazareth" Amen
