Mc 3, 1-6

GospelMK 3:1-6
Jesus entered the synagogue.
There was a man there who had a withered hand.
They watched Jesus closely
to see if he would cure him on the sabbath
so that they might accuse him.
He said to the man with the withered hand,
“Come up here before us.”
Then he said to the Pharisees,
“Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil,
to save life rather than to destroy it?”
But they remained silent.
Looking around at them with anger
and grieved at their hardness of heart,
Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.”
He stretched it out and his hand was restored.
The Pharisees went out and immediately took counsel
with the Herodians against him to put him to death.

Meditacion:
Amen

Yesterday I was watching a video of a Pastor about ecumenism.
And I was very saddened by the energy and time that this Pastor (very knowledgeable without a doubt) used to explain how and why and under what conditions one should be ecumenical.
Today's Gospel questions us (all) about what is most important. Do good or comply with the forms?
I always remember a phrase from President Roosevelt during World War II "If my neighbor's house is on fire, I go and lend him a hose to put out the flames." Always the greatest good must prevail.
And Jesus does one more thing, puts it in the center. As for us to realize who should be in the center of our hearts. The poor, the needy, the paralyzed.
Recognizing the other, regardless of their color, their sex, their political or religious beliefs, because we are all in some way, paralytic called to the center by Jesus, is the important thing.
The service to the other, the constant prayer, the visit to the Blessed Sacrament and the rosary to our Mother Mary to intercede for us, the way to understand that nothing is more important than the love of God and my brothers.
After we solve that, we can deal with all the theology of the world.
It is time to embody the gospel in our daily lives
And stop fighting for little things
"Beloved Jesus and Blessed Mary, we place these intentions in your holy hands knowing that there is nothing impossible for God." Amen
