Mc 6, 53-56

En aquel tiempo, Jesús y sus discípulos terminaron la travesía del lago y tocaron tierra en Genesaret.

Apenas bajaron de la barca, la gente los reconoció y de toda aquella región acudían a él, a cualquier parte donde sabían que se encontraba, y le llevaban en camillas a los enfermos.

A dondequiera que llegaba, en los poblados, ciudades o caseríos, la gente le ponía a sus enfermos en la calle y le rogaba que por lo menos los dejara tocar la punta de su manto; y cuantos lo tocaban, quedaban curados.

Mk 6:53-56

After making the crossing to the other side of the sea,
Jesus and his disciples came to land at Gennesaret
and tied up there.
As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him.
They scurried about the surrounding country
and began to bring in the sick on mats
to wherever they heard he was.
Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered,
they laid the sick in the marketplaces
and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak;
and as many as touched it were healed.

Meditacion:

Las noticias de los milagros que Jesús realizaba se difundían rápidamente, y la gente le llevaba a los enfermos “a dondequiera que llegaba” (Marcos 6, 55). Incluso aquellos que tocaban el borde de su manto quedaban sanos (6, 56).

Hoy en día muchas personas también tienen hambre de encontrarse con Jesús. Muchos anhelan escuchar que Dios es real, que los ama y que él puede tocarlos y sanar su corazón, mente y cuerpo. Pero es responsabilidad de nosotros llegar a ellos.

¿Conoces a alguien que necesita el amor y la sanidad de Jesús? Acércate a esa persona, podría parecer un paso arriesgado, pero puede ser que esa persona encuentre al Señor, y por eso vale la pena arriesgarse.

“Señor, te ruego que me muestres quién necesita hoy de tu amor y sanación.”

News of the miracles that Jesus performed spread rapidly, and people took the sick to him "wherever he went" (Mark 6:55). Even those who touched the edge of his cloak were left healthy (6, 56).

Today many people are also hungry to meet Jesus. Many long to hear that God is real, that He loves them, and that He can touch them and heal their heart, mind, and body. But it is our responsibility to reach out to them.

Do you know someone who needs the love and healing of Jesus? Get close to that person, it might seem like a risky step, but it may be that that person finds the Lord, and that is why it is worth taking the risk.

"Lord, I beg you to show me who needs your love and healing today."
