Cultura de minimos

Mt 5, 20-26

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: "Les aseguro que si su justicia no es mayor que la de los escribas y fariseos, ciertamente no entrarán ustedes en el Reino de los cielos.

Han oído que se dijo a los antiguos: No matarás y el que mate será llevado ante el tribunal. Pero yo les digo: Todo el que se enoje con su hermano, será llevado también ante el tribunal; el que insulte a su hermano, será llevado ante el tribunal supremo, y el que lo desprecie, será llevado al fuego del lugar de castigo.

Por lo tanto, si cuando vas a poner tu ofrenda sobre el altar, te acuerdas allí mismo de que tu hermano tiene alguna queja contra ti, deja tu ofrenda junto al altar y ve primero a reconciliarte con tu hermano, y vuelve luego a presentar tu ofrenda.

Arréglate pronto con tu adversario, mientras vas con él por el camino; no sea que te entregue al juez, el juez al policía y te metan a la cárcel. Te aseguro que no saldrás de allí hasta que hayas pagado el último centavo".

GospelMT 5:20-26

Jesus said to his disciples:
"I tell you,
unless your righteousness surpasses that
of the scribes and Pharisees,
you will not enter into the Kingdom of heaven.

"You have heard that it was said to your ancestors,
You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.
But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother
will be liable to judgment,
and whoever says to his brother, Raqa,
will be answerable to the Sanhedrin,
and whoever says, 'You fool,' will be liable to fiery Gehenna.
Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar,
and there recall that your brother
has anything against you,
leave your gift there at the altar,
go first and be reconciled with your brother,
and then come and offer your gift.
Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court.
Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge,
and the judge will hand you over to the guard,
and you will be thrown into prison.
Amen, I say to you,
you will not be released until you have paid the last penny."

Meditacion:

Jesús nos invita a ir más allá, a no conformarnos con la ética de mínimos. En el mundo de hoy, totalmente secular, la cultura que impera es justamente la contraria.. el individualismo, el "no te metas", el "algo habra hecho" que tanto dano hizo en nuestros paises. 

Pero en el dia de nuestro juicio, no seremos juzgados por cuantas misas fuimos, o si cuidamos y limpiamos la Iglesia.. seremos juzgados por la vara del amor, cuanto amor fuimos capaces de brindar, de dar, de recibir.

En el mundo de hoy al amor lo disecaron y es una mercaderia  mas que uno puede comprar online o bajarse una app para el celular; vivimos aun peor que los fariseos porque al menos estos resemblaban gestos, nosotros a veces ni eso.

La verdad que a veces me gustaria escuchar rezar a los gritos a alguien como decia Jesus que hacian los fariseos para que todos los vieran pero ni eso..

Hoy solo tomamos un dia tras otro, creyendonos con derecho a todo y sin entregar nada, damos por garantizado que este planeta, que todo lo que tenemos es por derecho propio y puede ser explotado, usado y minado para mi propio beneficio, sin siquiera pensar en el beneficio de mis hermanos.

Nuevamente, salgamos de esta cultura de minimos que ni siquiera respeta los antiguos 10 mandamientos y avancemos hacia una cultura de amor y respeto.

Pero no todo es malo, yo veo indicios de una gran civilizacion, llena de conciencia y amor, avanzando entre los jovenes.. claro, entre los que no tienen la cabeza metida en un celular o en un video juego...

Pero lo veo, cada dia, oremos por ellos y por nososotros.. y por todos para que Jesus en esta cuaresma cambie nuestro corazon y lo llene de sensibilidad y amor

 No seamos nosotros los que pongamos freno a la acción de un Espíritu Santo que quiere y necesita  hacer más en nosotros. Amen

Jesus invites us to go further, not to conform to the minimum ethic. In today's totally secular world, the prevailing culture is precisely the opposite ... individualism, the "do not get involved", the "something will have done" that did so much damage in our countries.

But on the day of our trial, we will not be judged for how many masses we went, or if we take care of and clean the Church ... we will be judged by the rod of love, how much love we were able to give, to give, to receive.

In today's world, love was dissected and it is a merchandise more than one can buy online or download an app for the cell phone; we live even worse than the Pharisees because at least these resemblanced gestures, sometimes we do not even that.

The truth that sometimes I would like to hear prayers shouting to someone as Jesus said that the Pharisees did for all to see but not even that ..

Today we only take one day after another, believing ourselves entitled to everything and without giving anything, we take for granted that this planet, that everything we have is in its own right and can be exploited, used and mined for my own benefit, without even thinking for the benefit of my brothers.

Again, let's get out of this culture of minimos that does not even respect the old 10 commandments and move towards a culture of love and respect.

But not everything is bad, I see signs of a great civilization, full of conscience and love, advancing among young people .. of course, among those who do not have their head stuck in a cell phone or in a video game ...

But I see it, every day, we pray for them and for us ... and for all of us so that Jesus in this Lent can change our heart and fill it with sensitivity and love

 Let us not stop the action of a Holy Spirit who wants and needs to do more in us. Amen
