Salgamos a buscar los Cristos rotos...

Lc 5, 27-32

En aquel tiempo, vio Jesús a un publicano, llamado Leví (Mateo), sentado en su despacho de recaudador de impuestos, y le dijo: "Sígueme". Él, dejándolo todo, se levantó y lo siguió.

Leví ofreció en su casa un gran banquete en honor de Jesús, y estaban a la mesa, con ellos, un gran número de publicanos y otras personas. Los fariseos y los escribas criticaban por eso a los discípulos, diciéndoles: "¿Por qué comen y beben con publicanos y pecadores?" Jesús les respondió: "No son los sanos los que necesitan al médico, sino los enfermos. No he venido a llamar a los justos, sino a los pecadores, para que se conviertan".

Jesus saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the customs post.
He said to him, "Follow me."
And leaving everything behind, he got up and followed him.
Then Levi gave a great banquet for him in his house,
and a large crowd of tax collectors
and others were at table with them.
The Pharisees and their scribes complained to his disciples, saying,
"Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?"
Jesus said to them in reply,
"Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do.
I have not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners."

Meditacion:

"No he venido a llamar a los justos sino a los pecadores para que se conviertan" dice Jesus en uno de los pasajes mas interesantes del evangelio de hoy.

Esa llamada sigue resonando hoy... Y es un toque de atencion para aquellos que trabajamos activamente en parroquias o movimientos religiosos respecto a abrir nuestras puertas; hoy mas que nunca la Iglesia nos pide salir, buscar al hermano que esta afuera y que piensa que no hay nada para el en una Iglesia.

Por mucho tiempo hemos pensado que las puertas de nuestras Iglesias estaban abiertas para todos... pero esto, tristemente, no ha sido asi y soy testigo directo de esto, de como se alejo al diferente, al homosexual, a la prostituta, al adicto...

Pero Jesus quiere salir a buscar a esos Cristos rotos y traerlos a su seno, confortarlos con su amor.. que hacemos cada dia por ellos??

Hoy mas que nunca debemos desprendernos de esa mirada de superioridad frente al pobre y no hablo del pobre material, hablo del pobre espiritual, aquel que todo lo tiene pero no tiene nada. Yo siempre digo que tanto el pobre de la calle como el rico adolecen del mismo problema, acumulan sin medida, para poder llenar ese vacio inmenso de su corazon.

Salgamos a las calles, vayamos a las prisiones, visitemos a los enfermos, hagamos llegar la presencia de Cristo a cada uno de esos rincones oscuros donde no veremos mucha presencia de sacerdotes. Convirtamos nuestras ciudades en Iglesias, nuestras calles en templos, cada personas que nos crucemos es un feligrés... entonces bendigamos, escuchemos al hermano, no juzguemos, solo aceptemos y oremos por ellos.. si hacemos esto, estaremos ayudando a construir el Reino de Dios en la tierra, Amen.

"I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to convert," Jesus says in one of the most interesting passages of today's Gospel.

That call continues to resound today ... And it is a touch of attention for those of us who actively work in parishes or religious movements with respect to opening our doors; Today more than ever the Church asks us to go out, to look for the brother who is out there and who thinks there is nothing for him in a Church.

For a long time we have thought that the doors of our churches were open to all ... but this, sadly, has not been like that and I am a direct witness of this, of how it was different to the homosexual, the prostitute, the addict ...

But Jesus wants to go out and find those broken Christs and bring them to their bosom, comfort them with their love ... what do we do every day for them?

Today more than ever we must get rid of that look of superiority in front of the poor and I do not speak of the poor material, I speak of the spiritual poor, the one who has everything but has nothing. I always say that both the poor of the street and the rich suffer from the same problem, accumulate without measure, to fill that vast emptiness of his heart.

Let's go out into the streets, we go to prisons, we visit the sick, we bring the presence of Christ to each of those dark corners where we will not see much presence of priests. Let's turn our cities into churches, our streets into temples, every person that crosses us is a parishioner ... then let us bless, listen to the brother, let us not judge, let's just accept and pray for them .. if we do this, we will be helping to build the Kingdom of God on earth, Amen.
