Los caminos de Jesus

Mc 9, 30-37

En aquel tiempo, Jesús y sus discípulos atravesaban Galilea, pero él no quería que nadie lo supiera, porque iba enseñando a sus discípulos. Les decía: "El Hijo del hombre va a ser entregado en manos de los hombres; le darán muerte, y tres días después de muerto, resucitará". Pero ellos no entendían aquellas palabras y tenían miedo de pedir explicaciones.

Llegaron a Cafarnaúm, y una vez en casa, les preguntó: "¿De qué discutían por el camino?" Pero ellos se quedaron callados, porque en el camino habían discutido sobre quién de ellos era el más importante. Entonces Jesús se sentó, llamó a los Doce y les dijo: "Si alguno quiere ser el primero, que sea el último de todos y el servidor de todos".

Después, tomando a un niño, lo puso en medio de ellos, lo abrazó y les dijo: "El que reciba en mi nombre a uno de estos niños, a mí me recibe. Y el que me reciba a mí, no me recibe a mí, sino a aquel que me ha enviado".

GospelMK 9:30-37

Jesus and his disciples left from there and began a journey through Galilee,
but he did not wish anyone to know about it. 
He was teaching his disciples and telling them,
"The Son of Man is to be handed over to men 
and they will kill him,
and three days after his death the Son of Man will rise." 
But they did not understand the saying,
and they were afraid to question him.

They came to Capernaum and, once inside the house,
he began to ask them,
"What were you arguing about on the way?" 
But they remained silent.
For they had been discussing among themselves on the way
who was the greatest. 
Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them,
"If anyone wishes to be first, 
he shall be the last of all and the servant of all." 
Taking a child, he placed it in their midst, 
and putting his arms around it, he said to them,
"Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me;
and whoever receives me,
receives not me but the One who sent me."

Meditacion:

El camino de Jesus es uno lleno de revelaciones y conocimientos; no el mas sencillo, tampoco uno que librara de dificultades pero si uno en el que, poco a poco, vamos aprendiendo a discernir el plan que Dios tiene para nosotros.

Apenas acabado el tiempo Pascual y nuevamente en tiempo ordinario, Jesus nos dice que el mas importante es el que sirve, el que es inocente como un nino, el que se olvida de sus propias ambiciones y trabaja por la promocion del pobre, del desprotegico.

Es muy importante este mensaje en este dia, en este lugar porque hoy recibimos mucha informacion sobre personas (segun la sociedad) "exitosas" y es ese constante bombardeo de contenidos (los que a  veces consumimos sin darnos cuenta) que poco a poco van cambiando nuestro norte, hacia donde deberiamos dirigirnos y vamos, asi, dejando el camino de la humildad cristiana por otro mas terrenal y lleno de cosas vanas.

Dice al respecto el Papa Francisco:

"Los discípulos eran gente buena, que querían seguir al Señor, servirle... Desde el momento en que la Iglesia es Iglesia hasta hoy, esto ha sucedido, sucede y sucederá. Pensemos en las luchas en las parroquias: ‘Yo quiero ser presidente de esta asociación, escalar un poco', ‘¿Quién es el más grande, aquí? ¿Quién es el más grande en esta parroquia? No, yo soy más importante que aquel, y aquel otro no,  porque ha hecho aquella cosa…', y allí, la cadena de los pecados". 

Algunas veces lo decimos con vergüenza nosotros, los sacerdotes, en los presbiterios: ‘Yo querría aquella parroquia…'. No es el camino del Señor, sino el camino de la vanidad, de la mundanidad. También entre nosotros, los obispos, sucede lo mismo: la mundanidad viene como tentación.‘Yo estoy en esta diócesis pero miro hacia aquella que es más importante y me muevo para lograrlo… Sí, uso esta influencia, esta otra, aquella otra, o esta influencia, hago presión, presiono sobre este punto para llegar allá…'. Pidamos siempre al Señor la gracia de avergonzarnos, cuando nos encontramos en estas situaciones."

Hermanos, tratemos de tener presente la imagen de Cristo con el niño en brazos y procuremos discernir qué nos dice esta figura acerca de lo que es la grandeza ante los ojos de Dios y no la perdamos de vista al considerar cómo quiere el Señor que le sirvamos. Esta imagen puede guiar nuestros pensamientos y nuestros corazón al buscar el camino de la grandeza en el Reino de Dios. Amen

The way of Jesus is one full of revelations and knowledge; not the simplest, nor one that freed from difficulties but one in which, little by little, we are learning to discern the plan that God has for us.

Just after the Paschal period and again in ordinary time, Jesus tells us that the most important is the one who serves, the one who is innocent as a child, the one who forgets his own ambitions and works for the promotion of the poor, the unprotected.

This message is very important on this day, in this place because today we receive a lot of information about people (according to society) "successful" and it is this constant bombardment of contents (which we sometimes consume without realizing) that are changing little by little our north, where we should go and go, thus, leaving the path of Christian humility for another more earthly and full of vain things.

Pope Francis says about it:

"The disciples were good people, who wanted to follow the Lord, serve Him ... From the moment the Church is Church to today, this has happened, happens and will happen." Let's think about the struggles in the parishes: "I want to be president of this association, to climb a little ',' Who is the greatest, here? Who is the greatest in this parish? No, I am more important than that, and that other is not, because he has done that thing ... ' , and there, the chain of sins. "

Sometimes we say it with shame, the priests, in the presbyteries: 'I would like that parish ...'. It is not the way of the Lord, but the path of vanity, of worldliness. Also among us, the bishops, the same thing happens: worldliness comes as a temptation. "I am in this diocese but I look towards the one that is most important and I move to achieve it ... Yes, I use this influence, this other, that other, or this influence, I put pressure, I press on this point to get there ... '. Let us always ask the Lord for the grace to embarrass us, when we find ourselves in these situations. "

Brothers, let us try to keep in mind the image of Christ with the child in our arms and try to discern what this figure tells us about what is greatness in the eyes of God and do not lose sight of it when considering how the Lord wants us to serve Him . This image can guide our thoughts and our hearts as we seek the path of greatness in the Kingdom of God. Amen
