Seamos como ninos

Mc 10, 13-16

En aquel tiempo, la gente le llevó a Jesús unos niños para que los tocara, pero los discípulos trataban de impedirlo.

Al ver aquello, Jesús se disgustó y les dijo: "Dejen que los niños se acerquen a mí y no se lo impidan, porque el Reino de Dios es de los que son como ellos. Les aseguro que el que no reciba el Reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él".

Después tomó en brazos a los niños y los bendijo imponiéndoles las manos.

People were bringing children to Jesus that he might touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them.
When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them,
"Let the children come to me; do not prevent them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Amen, I say to you,
whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God like a child
will not enter it."
Then he embraced the children and blessed them,
placing his hands on them.

Meditacion:

Jesus nos pide hoy dia que nos volvamos como ninos para entrar en el Reino de Dios.

Es una llamada cargada de ternura, un nino mira el mundo con ojos de asombro, los ninos no saben de egoismos, juegan juntos sin fijarse si el otro es de diferente raza o religion, solo juegan.

Y por sobre todas las cosas, un nino no tiene conciencia de pasado o futuro, todo es un eterno "presente", un nino no tiene el "modo avion" en el que a veces los adultos nos empantanamos... un nino no pierde tiempo, juega hasta que se cansa.

Ser como ninos es dejarnos llevar y mimar por nuestra Sagrada Madre, Maria, que intercede constantemente por nosotros ante su hijo.

Ser nino es abandonar la idea nociva de que tenemos todo "bajo control" o que debemos correr en una carrera desenfrenada para llegar a ningun lado y no tener tiempo para nuestras practicas espirituales.

Ser ninos es tener una imaginacion cargada de amigos imaginarios, de angelitos que juegan con nosotros.

Romano Guardini escribio respecto a este pasaje:

         "El pueblo judío, los fariseos y doctores de la ley, los sacerdotes y los sumos sacerdotes, ¡qué adultos son!  Si les observamos de cerca, tropezamos con todo su endurecimiento y perversión, con toda la herencia del pecado. ¡Que viejos son!  Su recuerdo abraza más de dos mil años, se extiende hasta Abraham.  Es una conciencia histórica poco corriente en otros pueblos. La sabiduría les viene de Dios y de una larga experiencia humana. Son clarividentes, inteligentes y correctos. Examinan, sopesan, distinguen, reflexionan y, a la llegada del Mesías -con la cual se cumple la profecía y su larga historia llega a su plenitud-, se atienen obstinadamente a lo pasado, se agarran a sus tradiciones humanas, se parapetan tras el templo y la ley; son astutos, duros, ciegos, y la hora de Dios pasa.  El enviado de Dios muere por mano de aquellos que guardan la ley de Dios, en tanto que el judaísmo queda encerrado en la espera de Aquel que ya ha venido."

Los niños no son así. Y sólo quienes son como ellos, pueden acoger/recibir el Reino. Los «viejos» tienen la mentalidad de que el Reino hay que ganárselo, hay que merecerlo, tener méritos. Jesús, que va experimentando ya el rechazo a la Buena Noticia del Reino, va dándole vueltas a que el Reino es algo que su Padre ofrece y regala, es un don que él da a los pobres, a los humildes, a los que nada cuentan (como los niños en aquella sociedad judía)... El niño recibe todo porque nada puede por sí mismo, es la extrema fragilidad y dependencia, y lo que más les define es su necesidad absoluta de sus padres. También Jesús es como los niños: necesita continuamente la cercanía, la ternura y el cuidado de su Padre para salir adelante en su vida.

Jesús se siente a sí mismo como un niño: abierto a recibir del Padre el reino tal como él quiera dárselo, dispuesto a dejarse guiar por él, como haciendo suyo el Salmo 131 (130): «no pretendo grandezas que superan mi capacidad; sino que acallo y modero mis deseos,  como un niño en brazos de su madre». O de su padre, que tanto da.

Y ruega, exige, que nadie impida se acercan a él libremente los niños, los ciegos, leprosos, los publicanos, los pecadores en general, los que no son buenos, los que no cumplen, los enfermos... porque para ellos ha venido, porque son los únicos que lo necesitan, porque el Padre prefiere y cuida especialmente de todos ellos. Como también cuidará de él mismo cuando se vea absolutamente débil y solo en lo alto de un madero.  Dichosos los que tienen el corazón de niño... porque Dios los acoge, cuida y ama como Padre. Amen

Jesus asks us today to become like children to enter the Kingdom of God.

It is a call full of tenderness, a child looks at the world with eyes of amazement, children do not know about selfishness, play together without paying attention if the other is of a different race or religion, they only play.

And above all things, a child is not aware of past or future, everything is an eternal "present", a child does not have the "airplane mode" in which adults sometimes we get bogged down ... a child does not lose time, play until you get tired.

To be like children is to let ourselves be carried away and pampered by our Sacred Mother, Maria, who intercedes constantly for us before her son.

To be children is to have an imagination full of imaginary friends, of little angels who play with us.

If we observe them closely, we come across all their hardening and perversion, with all the inheritance of sin. Children are not like that. And only those who are like them can welcome / receive the Kingdom. The "old" have the mentality that the Kingdom must be earned, it must be deserved, it must have merit. Jesus, who is already experiencing the rejection of the Good News of the Kingdom, is turning around that the Kingdom is something that his Father offers and gives, it is a gift that he gives to the poor, to the humble, to those who have nothing (like children in that Jewish society) ... The child receives everything because nothing can by itself, is the extreme fragility and dependence, and what defines them most is their absolute need of their parents. Jesus is also like children: he needs continually the closeness, tenderness and care of his Father to get ahead in his life.

Jesus feels himself as a child: open to receive from the Father the kingdom as he wants to give it, willing to let himself be guided by him, as if he were making Psalm 131 (130) his own: "I do not pretend greatness beyond my capacity; but I silence and moderate my desires, like a child in the arms of his mother ». Or his father, who gives so much.

And pray, demands, that no one impede children freely approach him, the blind, lepers, publicans, sinners in general, those who are not good, those who do not comply, the sick ... because for them it has come , because they are the only ones who need it, because the Father prefers and takes special care of all of them. As he will also take care of himself when he looks absolutely weak and only on top of a tree. Blessed are those who have the heart of a child ... because God welcomes them, cares for them and loves them as a Father. Amen
