Tus pecados te son perdonados

Mt 9, 1-8

En aquel tiempo, Jesús subió de nuevo a la barca, pasó a la otra orilla del lago y llegó a Cafarnaúm, su ciudad.

En esto, trajeron a donde él estaba a un paralítico postrado en una camilla. Viendo Jesús la fe de aquellos hombres, le dijo al paralítico: "Ten confianza, hijo. Se te perdonan tus pecados".

Al oír esto, algunos escribas pensaron: "Este hombre está blasfemando". Pero Jesús, conociendo sus pensamientos, les dijo: "¿Por qué piensan mal en sus corazones? ¿Qué es más fácil: decir 'Se te perdonan tus pecados', o decir 'Levántate y anda'? Pues para que sepan que el Hijo del hombre tiene poder en la tierra para perdonar los pecados, –le dijo entonces al paralítico–: Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa".

El se levantó y se fue a su casa. Al ver esto, la gente se llenó de temor y glorificó a Dios, que había dado tanto poder a los hombres.

GospelMT 9:1-8

After entering a boat, Jesus made the crossing, and came into his own town.
And there people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,
"Courage, child, your sins are forgiven."
At that, some of the scribes said to themselves,
"This man is blaspheming."
Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said,
"Why do you harbor evil thoughts?
Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,'
or to say, 'Rise and walk'?
But that you may know that the Son of Man
has authority on earth to forgive sins"–
he then said to the paralytic,
"Rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home."
He rose and went home.
When the crowds saw this they were struck with awe
and glorified God who had given such authority to men.

Meditacion:

El evangelio de hoy es un acto en tres pasos que podemos ser cualquiera de nosotros o cualquiera de nuestros parientes, amigos o parejas.

Nadie desea mas el milagro de la curacion cuando alguien esta enfermo que los que lo cuidan. Todos buscamos y deseamos tener una vida en paz y cuando uno de los nuestros cae enfermo, toda esa aparente vida de control que llevamos se cambia, se trastoca y deseamos volver a esa rutina.

Jesus ve la fe de esos hombres que llevaban al paralitico.. el paralitico habra tenido fe en Jesus? La biblia no lo dice, solo dice que "viendo la fe de aquellos hombres" le perdono los pecados al paralitico.

Muchas veces cuando tenemos un familiar con problemas, oramos por el porque deseamos que, al igual que nosotros, vea en la fe de Jesus un camino para abandonar la paralisis del pecado, de la adiccion, de la corrupcion...

Esto nos abre el segundo acto "Tus pecados te son perdonados" le dice Jesus pero inmediatamente es interpelado por los escribas, diciendole que blasfemaban.. y aqui Jesus hace un silogismo interesante.. que es mas facil? perdonar los pecados o decirle levantate y anda? Por supuesto, Jesus eligio el camino de realizar milagros para mostrarse como Rey de Reyes. Y se lo demuestra con lo que sigue "levantate, toma tu camilla y vete", Inmediatamente la gente se llena de temor y glorifica a Dios.

Tememos lo que no comprendemos, alabamos a Dios cuando nos sentimos temerosos por alguna situacion. Pero espero que no necesitemos un milagro para comprender lo que hoy es palpable como ayer, que Jesus tiene poder sobre cielo y tierra, que es Rey de Reyes; no seamos como el paralitico, tirado en nuestro propio pecado, esperando que la oracion de otros salve nuestra vida.

Tomemos nuestra camilla y salgamos a predicar porque nuestros pecados, por la muerte de Jesus, han sido redimidos.

Entonces como en Juan 8 1:11 escucharemos en nuestro corazon "Vete y no peques mas", Amen

The gospel of today is an act in three steps that we can be any of us or any of our relatives, friends or couples.

Nobody wants more the miracle of healing when someone is sick than those who care for him. We all seek and wish to have a life in peace and when one of our people falls ill, all that apparent life of control that we carry is changed, it is disrupted and we want to return to that routine.

Jesus sees the faith of those men who carried the paralytic .. the paralytic would have had faith in Jesus? The bible does not say it, it only says that "seeing the faith of those men" I forgive the sins of the paralytic.

Many times when we have a family member with problems, we pray for him because we want him, like us, to see in the faith of Jesus a way to abandon the paralysis of sin, addiction, corruption ...

This opens the second act "Your sins are forgiven" Jesus tells him but immediately he is challenged by the scribes, telling him that they blasphemed ... and here Jesus makes an interesting syllogism ... which is easier? forgive sins or tell him to get up and walk? Of course, Jesus chose the path of performing miracles to show himself as King of Kings. And he shows it with the following "get up, take your stretcher and go", Immediately people are filled with fear and glorify God.

We fear what we do not understand, we praise God when we feel fearful for some situation. But I hope we do not need a miracle to understand what today is palpable like yesterday, that Jesus has power over heaven and earth, that he is King of Kings; Let us not be like the paralytic, lying in our own sin, waiting for the prayer of others to save our lives.

Let us take our stretcher and go out to preach because our sins, by the death of Jesus, have been redeemed.

Then as in John 8 1:11 we will hear in our hearts "Go and sin no more", Amen
