Fariseos...

Mt 23, 13-22

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a los escribas y fariseos: "¡Ay de ustedes, escribas y fariseos hipócritas, porque les cierran a los hombres el Reino de los cielos! Ni entran ustedes ni dejan pasar a los que quieren entrar.

¡Ay de ustedes, escribas y fariseos hipócritas, que recorren mar y tierra para ganar un adepto, y cuando lo consiguen, lo hacen todavía más digno de condenación que ustedes mismos!

¡Ay de ustedes, guías ciegos, que enseñan que jurar por el templo no obliga, pero que jurar por el oro del templo, sí obliga! ¡Insensatos y ciegos! ¿Qué es más importante, el oro o el templo, que santifica al oro? También enseñan ustedes que jurar por el altar no obliga. ¡Ciegos! ¿Qué es más importante, la ofrenda o el altar, que santifica a la ofrenda? Quien jura, pues, por el altar, jura por él y por todo lo que está sobre él. Quien jura por el templo, jura por él y por aquel que lo habita. Y quien jura por el cielo, jura por el trono de Dios y por aquel que está sentado en él".

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.
You lock the Kingdom of heaven before men.
You do not enter yourselves,

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.
You traverse sea and land to make one convert,
and when that happens you make him a child of Gehenna
twice as much as yourselves.

"Woe to you, blind guides, who say,
'If one swears by the temple, it means nothing,
but if one swears by the gold of the temple, one is obligated.'

Meditacion:

En realidad, todos comenzamos de la misma manera, siendo un poco fariseos... yendo a misa y escapando al final rapidamente, rezando un rosario y aburriendonos... yendo a una procesion o a una exposicion del santisimo y no comprendiendo muy bien que hacer o que orar.

Lo que ocurre es que cualquier practica espiritual si no esta presente el Espiritu Santo es solo una cascara vacia, algo sin valor.

Lo mismo pasaba con los fariseos, habian reducido la religion a una enorme e insalvable reglas las cuales ellos imponian pero no cumplian... lo de siempre, el que tiene el poder, impone.

Y con Cristo, la sencillez es la manera de llegar... las reglas son minimas, te diria que solo dos.. ama a Dios por sobre todas las cosas y a tu projimo como a ti mismo y nada mas, con esas dos tenemos de basta y sobra.

Algunos, por lo que podemos leer, hicieron un uso perverso de la religión, buscando aprovecharse de los demás, impresionarlos demostrar lo mucho que sabían y lo buenos que eran. ¡Qué malos eran estos fariseos! Por cierto, tú,  ¿para qué eres cristiano? ¿Para qué trabajas en la parroquia, para qué eres catequista, para qué haces cosas en Cáritas…? ¿Para que te vean y digan qué bueno eres, o para mayor gloria de Dios? Revisión de motivaciones, para no ser fariseos…

Las Hermanas de Teresa de Calcuta rezan todos los días, después de la Misa, una oración en la que piden que la luz de Cristo brille a través de ellas. No su luz, sino la luz de Cristo. Eso, quizá, es lo que no entendieron los fariseos. Lo primero, Cristo. Después, ya veremos.

Los escribas y los fariseos hacían finas distinciones entre los tipos de juramento con los que uno podía comprometerse. Está claro que no era esa la idea del juramento, como Jesús les hace ver. Nosotros, que no somos fariseos, podemos hacer algo parecido hoy. Por ejemplo, cuando damos mucha importancia a algunos mandamientos, mientras que otros no cuentan para la salvación. O cuando pontificamos, diciendo yo pienso así y me parece, en vez de enseñar a la gente lo que dijo Cristo y lo que nos dejó en la Biblia.

Vale por ahora. Nos podemos quedar con la enseñanza de la santa de hoy. No es imposible ser sencillo, ser fiel y ser santo. Santa Mónica lo fue. Puedes leer algo sobre su vida aquí. Ella supo encontrar un buen Guía, para ella y para su hijo. Amen

By the way, you, what are you Christian for? Why do you work in the parish, why are you a catechist, why do you do things in Cáritas ...? So they can see you and say how good you are, or to the greater glory of God? Revision of motivations, not to be Pharisees ...

The scribes and Pharisees made fine distinctions between the types of oaths with which one could commit oneself. It is clear that this was not the idea of ​​the oath, as Jesus makes them see.
