Las leyes... todas las leyes....

Mt 5, 17-19

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: "No crean que he venido a abolir la ley o los profetas; no he venido a abolirlos, sino a darles plenitud. Yo les aseguro que antes se acabarán el cielo y la tierra, que deje de cumplirse hasta la más pequeña letra o coma de la ley.

Por lo tanto, el que quebrante uno de estos preceptos menores y enseñe eso a los hombres, será el menor en el Reino de los cielos; pero el que los cumpla y los enseñe, será grande en el Reino de los cielos''.

Meditacion:

Conozco muchas personas a las que el evangelio de hoy les pega de cerca; es mas; quisieran que ni figurara este pasaje.

Porque Jesus viene a reafirmar que las leyes de Dios no son invalidas.

Darle plenitud a «la ley» fue para Jesús la única forma de generar los valores y actitudes para los cuales fue creada: el servicio, la justicia, el amor, el perdón, la verdad, etc. Las leyes fueron creadas para favorecer la convivencia humana y si esto no se cumple, se corrompen, terminan siendo objeto de manipulación a beneficio de unos en detrimento de otros.

Recibimos la invitación a evangelizar con el testimonio de quienes sabiéndose en manos de Dios caminan por la senda de la misericordia y la justicia. Una misericordia que traduce «la ley» en paciencia y acompañamiento a los más débiles; una justicia que practica «la ley» de la igualdad, la dignificación y la defensa de la vida. Un examen muy bueno para quienes en la Iglesia hemos puesto más énfasis al cumplimiento irrestricto de las normas y leyes más que al acompañamiento.

Como yo siempre digo, una ley sin misericordia, no es buena para nadie.

Ahora bien, yo he descubierto algo hace ya mucho tiempo. Cuando uno camina en la gracia de Dios, las leyes no son como fronteras insalvables, son, sencillamente eso, leyes pero no me limitan mi libertad de amar a los demas.

“Ama y haz lo que quieras. Si callas, callarás con amor; si gritas, gritarás con amor; si corriges, corregirás con amor; si perdonas, perdonarás con amor. Si tienes el amor arraigado en ti, ninguna otra cosa sino amor serán tus frutos” dice el gordo San Agustin que de eso sabia mucho.

Hermanos el unico camino es el amor, entonces la ley (y las leyes en general) tendran mas sentido.

“Señor, te doy gracias de verdad por actuar en mí y mostrarme el camino que debo seguir. Ayúdame, Señor, a vivir para ti.” Amen

A very good test for those in the Church who have placed more emphasis on unrestricted compliance with rules and laws rather than accompaniment.

As I always say, a law without mercy is not good for anyone.

Now, I have discovered something a long time ago. When one walks in the grace of God, laws are not like insurmountable borders, they are simply laws, but they do not limit my freedom to love others.

"Love and do what you want. If you shut up, you will be silent with love; if you scream, you will scream with love; if you correct, you will correct with love; if you forgive, you will forgive with love. If you have the love rooted in you, nothing but love will be your fruits "says the fat San Agustin, who knew a lot about that.

Brothers the only way is love, then the law (and laws in general) will make more sense.
