Como ninos.....

Mt 18, 1-5. 10. 12-14

En cierta ocasión, los discípulos se acercaron a Jesús y le preguntaron: "¿Quién es el más grande en el Reino de los cielos?"

Jesús llamó a un niño, lo puso en medio de ellos y les dijo: "Yo les aseguro a ustedes que si no cambian y no se hacen como los niños, no entrarán en el Reino de los cielos. Así pues, quien se haga pequeño como este niño, ése es el más grande en el Reino de los cielos. Y el que reciba a un niño como éste en mi nombre, me recibe a mí.

Cuidado con despreciar a uno de estos pequeños, pues yo les digo que sus ángeles, en el cielo, ven continuamente el rostro de mi Padre, que está en el cielo.

¿Qué les parece? Si un hombre tiene cien ovejas y se le pierde una, ¿acaso no deja las noventa y nueve en los montes, y se va a buscar a la que se le perdió? Y si llega a encontrarla, les aseguro que se alegrará más por ella, que por las noventa y nueve que no se le perdieron. De igual modo, el Padre celestial no quiere que se pierda ni uno solo de estos pequeños''.

GospelMT 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

The disciples approached Jesus and said,
"Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?"
He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said,
"Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children,
you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.
Whoever becomes humble like this child
is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.
And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones,
for I say to you that their angels in heaven
always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.
What is your opinion?
If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,
will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills
and go in search of the stray?
And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it
than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. 
In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father
that one of these little ones be lost."

Meditacion:

A medida que crecemos, nos vamos olvidando de como ser ninos, de como hacer amigos, de jugar y nos llenamos de las "responsabilidades" que el mundo nos exige.

Al final de nuestras vidas, volveremos a ser ninos... Jesús nos propone hacernos como niños. Si no, no podremos entrar en el Reino. ¡Cómo cuesta aceptar estas palabras en aquellas etapas de la vida en que necesitamos exhibir nuestra condición de “adultos”! Y, sin embargo, nos están regalando la clave para entender por qué tan a menudo encontramos las puertas cerradas, por qué no nos dice nada todo lo que tiene que ver con El.

Hay personas que necesitan 70 u 80 años en ser como niños. La vida misma los va haciendo cada vez más dependientes, más tiernos, más indefensos, más humildes. Hay otras que intuyen mucho antes que “este” es el camino y procuran ponerse en manos del Padre. Los itinerarios son muchos. El punto de llegada es siempre el mismo. Tal vez la sabiduría se parezca algo a esto.

Ser y vivir como un nino es tener siempre una mirada de asombro hacia la vida, no vivir con resentimientos y dolor sino, al igual que un nino, cada dia hacer algo nuevo y diferente. Y no depende de nuestras responsabilidades, que siempre estaran alli para recordarnos lo terrenal, depende de nuestra actitud.

Hermanos cambiemos hoy de actitud, vivamos como ninos para lograr la perfeccion de la caridad y humildad en esta vida, camino al Reino de los cielos.

"Amado Jesus convierte mi corazon en el de un nino para poder seguirte con mayor amor hacia ti y mis hermanos" Amen

As we grow, we forget how to be children, how to make friends, play and fill ourselves with the "responsibilities" that the world demands of us.

At the end of our lives, we will be children again ... Jesus proposes to make us like children. If not, we cannot enter the Kingdom. How hard it is to accept these words in those stages of life in which we need to exhibit our status as "adults"! And yet, they are giving us the key to understand why we often find the doors closed, why nothing tells us everything that has to do with Him.

There are people who need 70 or 80 years to be like children. Life itself makes them more and more dependent, more tender, more helpless, more humble. There are others who intuit long before "this" is the way and try to put themselves in the hands of the Father. The itineraries are many. The point of arrival is always the same. Maybe wisdom looks something like this.

Being and living like a child is always having a look of wonder at life, not living with resentment and pain but, like a child, every day do something new and different. And it doesn't depend on our responsibilities, that they will always be there to remind us of the earthly, it depends on our attitude.

Brothers, let's change our attitude today, let's live as children to achieve the perfection of charity and humility in this life, on the way to the Kingdom of heaven.

"Beloved Jesus turns my heart into that of a child so that I can follow you with greater love for you and my brothers" Amen
