Camino, verdad y vida

Jn 14, 1-6

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “No pierdan la paz. Si creen en Dios, crean también en mí. En la casa de mi Padre hay muchas habitaciones. Si no fuera así, yo se lo habría dicho a ustedes, porque ahora voy a prepararles un lugar. Cuando me vaya y les prepare un sitio, volveré y los llevaré conmigo, para que donde yo esté, estén también ustedes. Y ya saben el camino para llegar al lugar a donde voy”.

Entonces Tomás le dijo: “Señor, no sabemos a dónde vas, ¿cómo podemos saber el camino?” Jesús le respondió: “Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida. Nadie va al Padre si no es por mí”.

Meditacion:

Muchos días en casa. A veces disfrutando, otras sufriendo. Otros no tienen casa donde resguardarse de la pandemia. Hay casas soleadas y casas grises. Casas y hogares. En unas hay paz, en otras una violencia que salta en chispazos a cada momento. Quédate en casa.

Cada uno en su casa, y Dios en la de todos. La casa de Dios tiene muchas habitaciones. La casa de Dios, que es la Iglesia, también tiene muchas habitaciones. Caben los abuelos que cada día van a misa, y quien la pisa solo una vez al año. Caben esas personas que saben que allí son acogidas, cuando tantas veces en otros lugares son rechazados. Cabe quien escucha y quien se siente escuchado. En esta casa caben las alegrías de los niños, las rebeldías de los jóvenes, las dudas de los inquietos, los pecados y pecadillos de todos. Una Iglesia que se hace más casa en estos días.

Todos tenemos ganas de volver a esa nueva normalidad. Ganas de ponernos en camino. Pero conviene recordar que aquel que no sabe adónde va siempre acaba en otra parte. Jesús hoy se presenta como el camino que nos conduce al Padre, como la verdad que ilumina la vida de los pueblos (al Padre se llega como pueblo, hombro con hombro, todos juntos o no se llega), como la vida de un mundo que ha quedado en suspenso. Pues eso, hasta su casa con Él: Camino, Verdad, Vida.

“Amado Señor Jesús, creo que estás en el cielo intercediendo por mí. Tú conoces mis dificultades y necesidades; ayúdame a seguirte, porque tú eres el camino, la verdad y la vida.” Amen

Jesus today presents himself as the path that leads us to the Father, as the truth that illuminates the life of peoples (the Father is reached as a people, shoulder to shoulder, all together or not reached), as the life of a world that has been suspended. Well, that, even your home with Him: Way, Truth, Life.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you are in heaven interceding for me. You know my difficulties and needs; help me to follow you, because you are the way, the truth and the life. ” Amen

Nadie es mayor que el otro

Jn 13, 16-20

En aquel tiempo, después de lavarles los pies a sus discípulos, Jesús les dijo:

“Yo les aseguro: el sirviente no es más importante que su amo, ni el enviado es mayor que quien lo envía. Si entienden esto y lo ponen en práctica, serán dichosos.

No lo digo por todos ustedes, porque yo sé a quiénes he escogido. Pero esto es para que se cumpla el pasaje de la Escritura, que dice: El que comparte mi pan me ha traicionado. Les digo esto ahora, antes de que suceda, para que, cuando suceda, crean que Yo soy.

Meditacion:

El gesto es claro, lavo los pies de mis discipulos, en una imagen profundamente de servicio. Y sin embargo, aun asi, Jesus tuvo que explicarlo, como tantas veces.

Lo maravilloso de Jesus es este universo horizontal donde no hay nadie mas grande que el hermano que esta a tu lado.

El amor es como un tejido delicado e invisible que nos une a todos, a todos sin excepcion.

Por eso, para llevar a cabo esa maravillosa ceremonia ofertoria que es la misa, hay que vivir en esa especia de "paraguas de amor" hacia Dios, hacia mi mismo y hacia mis hermanos.

Amigos, lleguemos siempre a nuestra Misa no solo con nuestras necesidades sino con las necesidades de los demas; traigamos al Señor los deseos del doliente, de la familia rota, del que no tiene trabajo, de la mama sola con sus hijos, del adicto, de la prostituta, de ese hijo que lo vemos lejos de Dios. 

"Señor a veces me falta amor para aceptar una posicion de servicio a los demas, ayudame a reflejar tu amor sin juzgar" Amen

Jn 12, 44-50

Si alguno oye mis palabras y no las pone en práctica, yo no lo voy a condenar; porque no he venido al mundo para condenar al mundo, sino para salvarlo.

El que me rechaza y no acepta mis palabras, tiene ya quien lo condene: las palabras que yo he hablado lo condenarán en el último día. Porque yo no he hablado por mi cuenta, sino que mi Padre, que me envió, me ha mandado lo que tengo que decir y hablar. Y yo sé que su mandamiento es vida eterna. Así, pues, lo que hablo, lo digo como el Padre me lo ha dicho’’.

GospelJN 12:44-50

Jesus cried out and said,
“Whoever believes in me believes not only in me

Yo, que soy la luz, he venido al mundo para que los que creen en mí no se queden en la oscuridad. (Juan 12, 46)

En el Evangelio de hoy, el evangelista presenta un compendio de las enseñanzas de Jesucristo antes de relatar su pasión, muerte y resurrección. Este resumen incluye la unión del Padre y el Hijo y el hecho de que Jesús, la Luz del mundo, vino a salvar a la humanidad, no a juzgarla (Juan 12, 47). También incluye el mensaje de que la palabra de Jesús nos juzgará el último día (Juan 12, 48), y que esa palabra se identifica con la palabra del Padre y con la vida eterna que emana del mandamiento del Padre (Juan 12, 49-50).

San Juan reiteró invariablemente todos estos temas durante los doce primeros capítulos de su Evangelio, porque estaba deseoso de decirnos quién es Jesús, de modo que conociendo a Cristo podamos también conocer al Padre. Y conociendo al Padre, podemos conocer la luz y la vida. Por eso Jesús pronunció este mensaje a viva voz (Juan 12, 44).

Estas palabras nos invitan a examinarnos, para ver si hemos crecido en nuestro entendimiento y aceptación de la vida y las enseñanzas del Señor. ¿Vemos que en realidad él es la luz del mundo que vino a salvarnos? ¿Reconocemos que al final de la vida seremos juzgados por sus palabras? ¿Admitimos que su palabra es la misma del Padre y que los mandamientos del Padre son la fuente de la vida eterna?

Si aceptamos estas verdades de corazón y las vivimos, la vida que Dios desea dar a todos sus hijos puede hacerse realidad en nosotros. Si de veras queremos experimentar constantemente esta vida de amor, paz e iluminación, debemos pedirle al Espíritu Santo que nos ayude a entender y aceptar a Jesús. Por el amor que brota de su Sagrado Corazón, Jesús nos invita a venir a su lado. Si recibimos el agua viva que él nos ofrece, Jesús realizará su obra en nosotros, tal como lo hizo con la samaritana (Juan 4, 1-42).

Los invito a hacer hoy una oración especial en este día y, que luego de alabar al Señor y darle gracias por todas las bendiciones recibidas, le pidas que se digne iluminar tu camino y ser la luz que guíe tus pasos día a día, para que su Palabra sea la fuente de vida que te lleve a conocer, aceptar y hacer la voluntad de Dios.

“Padre santo, ten piedad de nosotros, los pecadores, que deseamos caminar como hijos de la luz.” Amen

I, who am the light, have come into the world so that those who believe in me do not remain in the dark. (John 12, 46)

In today's Gospel, the evangelist presents a compendium of the teachings of Jesus Christ before recounting his passion, death, and resurrection. Do we admit that his word is the same as the Father's and that the Father's commandments are the source of eternal life?

If we accept these truths from the heart and live them, the life that God wants to give to all his children can come true in us. If we really want to constantly experience this life of love, peace and illumination, we must ask the Holy Spirit to help us understand and accept Jesus. Because of the love that springs from his Sacred Heart, Jesus invites us to come to his side. If we receive the living water that he offers us, Jesus will carry out his work in us, just as he did with the Samaritan woman (John 4, 1-42).

I invite you to make a special prayer today on this day and, after praising the Lord and thanking him for all the blessings received, ask him to deign to light your way and be the light that guides your steps day by day, so that His Word is the source of life that leads you to know, accept and do the will of God.

El Mesias

Jn 10, 22-30

Por aquellos días, se celebraba en Jerusalén la fiesta de la dedicación del templo. Era invierno. Jesús se paseaba por el templo, bajo el pórtico de Salomón. Entonces lo rodearon los judíos y le preguntaron: “¿Hasta cuándo nos vas a tener en suspenso? Si tú eres el Mesías, dínoslo claramente”.

Jesús les respondió: “Ya se lo he dicho y no me creen. Las obras que hago en nombre de mi Padre dan testimonio de mí, pero ustedes no creen, porque no son de mis ovejas. ¡Qué afirmación más audaz! ¿Cómo reaccionaron los oyentes de Jesús? Algunos quisieron apedrearlo por igualarse a Dios (Juan 10, 31), otros quedaron probablemente tan asombrados que, a la luz de esta declaración, comenzaron a meditar en todo lo que le habían escuchado decir y visto hacer.

Ninguno de los oyentes se imaginó jamás que se encontraría cara a cara con Dios mismo. Incluso Moisés, el gran legislador, pudo ver a Dios nada más que “de espaldas” y solo por breves instantes (Éxodo 33, 18-23). Sin embargo, aquí estaba Jesús, en persona, ofreciendo la promesa de una relación que tendría efectos para siempre. Una y otra vez reveló la infinita sabiduría de Dios dando respuestas sabias e irrefutables a todos los intentos de los jefes religiosos por hacerlo tropezar en sus propias palabras.

Santo Tomás de Aquino comenta este pasaje del Evangelio diciendo: “Puedo ver, gracias a la luz del sol, pero si cierro los ojos, no veo; pero esto no es por culpa del sol, sino por culpa mía.”

Teniendo verdades tan maravillosas como éstas a nuestro alcance, podemos sentirnos muy reconfortados, porque gracias a Jesús, no solo podemos conocer personalmente al Padre celestial, sino pertenecerle a él, ahora y para siempre. Escuchemos la promesa de Jesús: “Lo que el Padre me ha dado es más grande que todo, y nadie se lo puede quitar” (Juan 10, 29).

“Padre celestial, ayúdame a entender lo que significa ser hijo tuyo, protegido por tu Hijo, el Buen Pastor, y enséñame, Señor, a acudir a Jesús todos los días sabiendo que él es mi Señor y Protector.” Amen

What a bold statement! How did Jesus' listeners react? Some wanted to stone him for being equal to God (John 10:31), others were probably so amazed that, in light of this statement, they began to meditate on everything they had heard him say and seen him do.

None of the listeners ever imagined that they would come face to face with God Himself. Even Moses, the great legislator, could see God only "on his back" and only for brief moments (Exodus 33, 18-23). Yet here was Jesus, in person, offering the promise of a relationship that would have an effect forever. Even later he told his disciples that "he who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14, 9). In everything he said and did, Jesus showed another dimension of God: the heavenly Father.

Every time he performed a healing, Jesus revealed the Father's compassion; When he forgave the woman caught in adultery and when he offered the Samaritan woman living water, he was revealing the infinite mercy of the Father. When he calmed the storm that terrified the disciples, he made clear the limitless power of God. Walking on the rough sea and passing through solid walls, Christ defied the laws of nature; overturning the tables of the money changers in the temple demonstrated the justice of God. Time and again he revealed the infinite wisdom of God by giving wise and irrefutable answers to all attempts by religious leaders to trip him up in his own words.

Saint Thomas Aquinas comments on this Gospel passage saying: “I can see, thanks to the sunlight, but if I close my eyes, I don't see; but this is not because of the sun, but because of me. ”

With such wonderful truths within our grasp, we can feel very comforted, because thanks to Jesus, we can not only personally know the heavenly Father, but belong to him, now and forever. Let us listen to the promise of Jesus: "What the Father has given me is greater than everything, and nobody can take it away" (John 10:29).

"Heavenly Father, help me understand what it means to be your son, protected by your Son, the Good Shepherd, and teach me, Lord, to go to Jesus every day knowing that he is my Lord and Protector." Amen

El buen Pastor

Jn 10, 11-18

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a los fariseos: “Yo soy el buen pastor. El buen pastor da la vida por sus ovejas. En cambio, el asalariado, el que no es el pastor ni el dueño de las ovejas, cuando ve venir al lobo, abandona las ovejas y huye; el lobo se arroja sobre ellas y las dispersa, porque a un asalariado no le importan las ovejas.

Yo soy el buen pastor, porque conozco a mis ovejas y ellas me conocen a mí, así como el Padre me conoce a mí y yo conozco al Padre. Yo doy la vida por mis ovejas. Tengo además otras ovejas que no son de este redil y es necesario que las traiga también a ellas; escucharán mi voz y habrá un solo rebaño y un solo pastor.

El Padre me ama porque doy mi vida para volverla a tomar. Nadie me la quita; yo la doy porque quiero. Tengo poder para darla y lo tengo también para volverla a tomar. Éste es el mandato que he recibido de mi Padre’’.

“I am the good shepherd.
A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Meditacion:

Hoy leemos de "La Palabra entre nosotros":

"¿Es posible escuchar la voz del Señor? Moisés escuchó la voz de Dios en la zarza ardiente; San José lo escuchó en sueños cuando el ángel le indicó que se casara con María; Santa Faustina escuchó a Jesús en una visión tan clara que pudo indicarle a un artista cómo pintar el cuadro de Jesús Misericordioso.

Estas historias pueden parecernos un tanto fantásticas; pero si lo piensas bien, probablemente ha habido momentos en los que tú también hayas experimentado la presencia de Dios y percibido que él tenía un mensaje para ti. Estas percepciones, aunque pasajeras, demuestran que todos tenemos instintos espirituales y que es posible cultivar esos instintos.

Tal vez lo entendamos mejor si pensamos en los instintos humanos. Por ejemplo, una madre puede estar en la guardería infantil donde muchos niños lloran, pero cuando su bebé empieza a llorar, reconoce inmediatamente la voz de su hijo y al punto acude a verlo. Un futbolista sabe cómo controlar su mejor pierna y cómo darle a la pelota para marcar el gol. Con suficiente práctica, estas reacciones se tornan automáticas y así se llega a un nivel en el que se puede responder en forma instintiva. Así también, con práctica y experiencia, es posible perfeccionar los sentidos espirituales para percibir la presencia del Señor.

Te invito hoy, hermano, a que practiques la escucha al Señor durante el día y seguramente te sorprenderás al ver que él siempre está disponible. De hecho, hacer oración y leer a menudo la Palabra de Dios es una buena preparación para reconocer la presencia de Cristo en aquellos con quienes conversas y en la vastedad y hermosura de la creación. Gradualmente, ya no te preguntarás si Dios te habla, sino cómo te habla y qué te dice.

Así que, pon oído a la voz de Dios en el niño que llora pidiendo atención; trata de escuchar cuando el Señor te susurre lo que quiere que le digas a un amigo enfermo; escucha sus palabras de ánimo cuando las cosas te salen bien o mal en la vida cotidiana. Y recuerda: hasta los mejores futbolistas fallan el tiro al arco alguna vez.

Jn 6, 60-69

En aquel tiempo, muchos discípulos de Jesús dijeron al oír sus palabras: “Este modo de hablar es intolerable, ¿quién puede admitir eso?”

Dándose cuenta Jesús de que sus discípulos murmuraban, les dijo: “¿Esto los escandaliza? ¿Qué sería si vieran al Hijo del hombre subir a donde estaba antes? Many of the disciples of Jesus who were listening said,
“This saying is hard; who can accept it?”
Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this,
he said to them, “Does this shock you?

It is the Spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail.
The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.
But there are some of you who do not believe.”
Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe
and the one who would betray him.
And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me
unless it is granted him by my Father.”

As a result of this,
many of his disciples returned to their former way of life
and no longer walked with him.

Meditacion:

¡Qué sensación más conocida! Cuántas veces se oye eso de que seguir a Jesús “es duro”. Se ve que no es nuevo. Ya incluso en tiempos de Jesús. Y no lo dicen los de fuera, sino sus mismos discípulos. Compañeros de colegio o de trabajo, que no han vuelto a pisar una iglesia en años…

Es la grandeza (o el problema) de la libertad. Es la elección personal de cada uno. De ahí la importancia de la pregunta de Jesús: “¿también vosotros queréis marcharos?” Cada uno elige su camino.

Es duro ser siempre bueno. A veces nos gustarian unas vacaciones, para poder vivir como viven los demás, o hacer lo que hacen los otros. Es nuestra elección dejarse llevar por esa tentación. O no. Sabemos que con Jesús se puede ser feliz. Muchos de nosotros lo hemos sido, lo estamos siendo hoy. A pesar de la pandemia, a pesar de las dificultades. Porque ser feliz no significa no tener problemas. Ser feliz significa estar donde tienes que estar, y aceptarlo. Es hacer lo que hizo Jesús, que fue capaz de morir por nuestra salvación. Nosotros escuchamos la pregunta del Maestro, “¿también vosotros queréis marcharos?”, y tenemos que pensar la respuesta.

¿Crees y sabes que Cristo es el Santo de Dios? ¿Crees que Él es el que da la vida eterna? ¿Acudes a su Palabra, para salir adelante cuando el camino se hace cuesta arriba? Valen más los hechos que las buenas palabras. Ojalá que podamos demostrar que somos de los de Jesús, que no le abandonamos a las primeras de cambio, y que nos permite ser felices, a pesar de todos los pesares. Una de las frases de Anthony de Mello más citadas y recordadas nos puede ayudar: “la felicidad no puede depender de los acontecimientos. Es tu reacción ante los acontecimientos lo que te hace sufrir”.

Que la fe en Cristo y la respuesta afirmativa a su pregunta nos libre de nuestras parálisis y resucite nuestras zonas muertas. 

“Señor y Salvador mío, ayúdame a creer cada vez más que tú eres el pan de vida eterna, cuya presencia no disminuye ni desaparece jamás.” Amen

What a well-known sensation! How many times have you heard that following Jesus "is hard". It is not new. Even in the time of Jesus. And it is not said by outsiders, but by his own disciples. School or work colleagues, who have not stepped on a church in years ...

It is the greatness (or the problem) of freedom. It is everyone's personal choice. Hence the importance of Jesus' question: "Do you also want to leave?" Each one chooses his path.

It is hard to always be good. Sometimes we would like a vacation, to be able to live as others live, or to do what others do. It is our choice to be carried away by that temptation. Or not. We know that with Jesus you can be happy. Many of us have been, we are today. Despite the pandemic, despite the difficulties. Because being happy does not mean not having problems. Being happy means being where you have to be, and accepting it. It is doing what Jesus did, who was able to die for our salvation. We hear the Master's question, "Do you want to leave, too?" And we have to think about the answer.

Do you believe and know that Christ is the Holy One of God? Do you believe that He is the one who gives eternal life? Do you go to His Word, to get ahead when the road is uphill? Deeds are worth more than good words. Hopefully we can show that we belong to Jesus, that we do not abandon him at the first change, and that he allows us to be happy, despite all the sorrows. One of Anthony de Mello's most quoted and remembered phrases can help us: “happiness cannot depend on events. It is your reaction to events that makes you suffer. ”

May faith in Christ and the affirmative answer to your question free us from our paralysis and resurrect our dead zones.

Conversion

Jn 6, 52-59

En aquel tiempo, los judíos se pusieron a discutir entre sí: “¿Cómo puede éste darnos a comer su carne?”

Jesús les dijo: “Yo les aseguro: Si no comen la carne del Hijo del hombre y no beben su sangre, no podrán tener vida en ustedes. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna y yo lo resucitaré el último día.

Mi carne es verdadera comida y mi sangre es verdadera bebida. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, permanece en mí y yo en él. Como el Padre, que me ha enviado, posee la vida y yo vivo por él, así también el que me come vivirá por mí.

Éste es el pan que ha bajado del cielo; no es como el maná que comieron sus padres, pues murieron. El que come de este pan vivirá para siempre’’.

Esto lo dijo Jesús enseñando en la sinagoga de Cafarnaúm.

Meditacion:

En la primera lectura de hoy se lee la conversion de Saulo (luego San Pablo), camino a capturar mas cristianos para que sean encarcelados y torturados.

Y la verdad que esta lectura me dejo pensando. 

Al leerla, puedo suponer que, cuando Dios le dijo a Ananías que fuera a rezar por el perseguidor, éste le  hubiera contestado: “¡De ninguna manera, Señor! Saulo tiene las manos manchadas de sangre. Yo tengo familia y no sería prudente arriesgarme tanto. Tal vez deberías buscar a otro que lo haga.”

Si Ananías hubiera dado alguna de estas respuestas, lo habríamos encontrado comprensible, pues sabemos que hubo profetas, como Jonás y Jeremías, que quisieron esquivar las misiones que Dios les daba, así como a veces lo hacemos nosotros. Afortunadamente, Ananías asumió una perspectiva más constructiva y creativa que los fieles también podemos adoptar para afrontar las misiones difíciles que a veces el Señor nos pide realizar. Podemos resumirla en tres elementos:

Hablar con Dios. En lugar de disculparse o poner oídos sordos, Ananías le planteó al Señor sus objeciones en forma honesta (Hechos 9, 13-14). Naturalmente, no era necesario contarle a Dios, que todo lo sabe, las atrocidades que Saulo había cometido, pero Ananías necesitaba expresar lo que sentía. Lo mismo sucede con nosotros.

Escuchar a Dios. Una vez que le hemos presentado al Señor nuestros temores, reservas y preguntas, es tiempo de escuchar. Jesús le dijo a Ananías que Saulo se había convertido de perseguidor en un “instrumento escogido” (Hechos 9, 15). Aun cuando ésta parecía ser una situación difícil de aceptar, Ananías le creyó a Dios y estuvo dispuesto a cambiar su forma de pensar. Ese también es un desafío para nosotros.

Aceptar el plan de Dios. Ananías pudo haberse acercado a Saulo a regañadientes, como lo hacemos nosotros cuando no nos gusta la misión recibida y haber pensado con resentimiento: “Señor, ¿por qué no me elegiste a mí para ser tu gran apóstol? Yo lo merezco más que Saulo.” Pero Ananías era dócil y obedeció, entendió la visión y quiso cumplirla a cabalidad. Casi podemos percibir su fervor y la generosidad de su espíritu en sus primeras palabras a Saulo. No le dijo “Tú eres un pecador”, ni solo “Saulo” a secas; lo llamó “Saulo, hermano…” (Hechos 9, 17).

Hermanos aceptar a veces las misiones de Jesus son algo complicado, parece a veces como que el Señor nos pide algo mas pero a la vez ser un instrumento en manos de Dios nos ayuda a acercanos mas a El

“Señor Jesús, creo que me pides que haga algo y te confieso que me resisto. Indícame claramente tu deseo mi Señor.” Amen

Today's first reading reads the conversion of Saul (later Saint Paul), on his way to capture more Christians to be imprisoned and tortured.

And the truth that this reading left me thinking.

As I read it, I can suppose that when God told Ananias to go pray for the persecutor, he would have answered: “No way, Lord! Saul's hands are stained with blood. I have a family and it would be unwise to risk so much. Maybe you should find someone else to do it. ”

If Ananias had given any of these answers, we would have found it understandable, since we know that there were prophets, like Jonah and Jeremiah, who wanted to avoid the missions that God gave them, just as we sometimes do. Fortunately, Ananías took a more constructive and creative perspective that the faithful can also adopt to face the difficult missions that the Lord sometimes asks us to carry out. We can summarize it in three elements:

Speak with God. Instead of apologizing or turning a deaf ear, Ananias honestly raised his objections to the Lord (Acts 9, 13-14). Naturally, it was not necessary to tell God, who knows everything, the atrocities that Saul had committed, but Ananias needed to express what he felt. The same happens with us.

Listen to God. Once we have presented our fears, reservations, and questions to the Lord, it is time to listen. Jesus told Ananias that Saul had become a "chosen instrument" as a persecutor (Acts 9, 15). Even though this seemed to be a difficult situation to accept, Ananias believed God and was willing to change his way of thinking. That is also a challenge for us.

Accept God's plan. Ananias could have reluctantly approached Saul, as we do when we do not like the mission received and thought resentfully: "Lord, why did you not choose me to be your great apostle? I deserve it more than Saulo. ” But Ananias was docile and obeyed, understood the vision and wanted to fulfill it fully. We can almost perceive his fervor and the generosity of his spirit in his first words to Saul. He did not say "You are a sinner", not just "Saul" simply; He called him "Saul, brother ..." (Acts 9, 17).

Brothers, sometimes accepting the missions of Jesus are complicated, it sometimes seems that the Lord asks us for something more, but at the same time being an instrument in the hands of God helps us to draw closer to Him.

“Lord Jesus, I think you are asking me to do something and I confess that I am resisting. Tell me clearly of your desire, my Lord. ” Amen
